踏み込み操作杆5を取付ける一方、前記第2歯車4には
第2の踏み込み操作杆6を取付けると共に、この第2踏
み込み操作杆6はベッドの幅方向に対向するキャスタ2
を互いに連結する踏み付け杆7を具備するものである。 尚、前記第1踏み込み操作杆5および第2踏み込み操作
杆6はベッド等の本体下方外側に指向して設けられるる
。ここで、かかるキャスタ2に設けられたロック機構に
ついて説明すると、ロック機構8は図2に示すように、
キャスタ2を構成する車輪9に接触する制動片10と、
この制動片10を車輪9に押圧するための作動棒11と
、作動棒11をばね力に抗して押圧するためのカム部材
12とを具備する。前記カム部材12には、図3に示す
ように、ベッドの幅方向に対向する面に、第1歯車3を
連動リンク13を構成する伝達杆14の軸部材15によ
って貫通され、ベッドの幅方向外側において、第1の踏
み込み操作杆5を軸着した構成である。前記連動リンク
13は、ベッド長手方向に位置するキャスタ2間をそれ
ぞれ、伝達杆14を介して連動自在に接続した連動杆1
6を具備する。

1踏み込み操作杆5を踏み込むことによって達成するこ
とができる。しかも、第1踏み込み操作杆5および第2
踏み込み操作杆6はベッド等の本体下方外側に指向し、
それぞれ近接して設けられているので、踏み換えにも手
間がかからず、操作性が格段に向上する。
