[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention places a rotating body that emits light in conjunction with the transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves on the back of a display screen that has an annular window with a scale. The present invention relates to a rotary display that emits light at an arbitrary scale position, and relates to a rotary display that emits light to display depth, distance, direction, etc. of a fish finder, etc., for example.

From this point of view, conventionally, a rotary plate having a depth scale on the circumference and a light emitting element fixed to a part of the circumferential edge is rotated in synchronization with the transmission of the ultrasonic detection pulse, and the moment of light emission is detected. A rotary fish finder that reads the depth from the scale above is widely used (in 1973).
-118652, Utsuko No. 55-33263). Although this type of device is mechanically simple and suitable for miniaturization, it requires a slip ring to supply signals to the light-emitting elements on the disk that rotates at high speed, resulting in structural and electrical noise issues. The problem remains.

However, in the above-mentioned devices, the light emitting elements are all provided on the side that rotates at high speed, so it is difficult to say that they are preferable in terms of their deterioration and lifespan. In addition, when considering the applicability of the above transformer system to so-called colorization, which uses two or more types of light emitting elements and uses a composite color, the structure of the transformer becomes significantly complicated, which results in a small size and It becomes difficult to meet the demand for simplicity. Therefore, a method has been proposed in which a mirror is provided on the rotating side and a light source is placed on the stationary side corresponding to the center of rotation (Patent No. 76769).
(No.), the number of light sources is limited to one, making it difficult to adjust the amount of light and colorize it.

When the rotating body itself is formed into a light guide member, it takes in light from a light entrance part fixed to the rotating shaft and guides this light to a light emitting part via the light guide part. When two or more light emitting elements facing the light input section are arranged on the stationary side around the rotation axis, light is supplied to the rotating light input section under the same conditions. If the light emitting elements are made to emit light of different colors, the signal level and other signal discrimination can be displayed by hue by switching the emitted light color or the like.

First, the structure on the rotating side will be explained. The rotating body is formed in a light guiding member 3 together with the rotating shaft 2, and this light guiding member 3 includes a light entrance portion 3a fixed to the rotating shaft 2, a light guiding portion 3b extending in the radial direction, and a light emitting portion opening at the tip thereof. It consists of 3c. Note that the light guide member 3
Most of the inner wall of the light emitting section 3c is mirror-shaped as required, and especially the inclined wall of the light emitting part 3c is formed into a mirror shape, so that the guided and focused light beam is directed upward, that is, of the annular window 13 which is the display surface, as shown by the dotted line. It is reflected towards the back. The axis of symmetry of a conical mirror 4 with a right-angled apex, arranged in the light entrance part 3a, for example, is made to coincide with the rotation axis 2 of the motor 1, so that the amount of light incident from any direction in the surrounding area is controlled. This is done to ensure uniformity. In addition,
5 and 5' are magnet pieces disposed at appropriate positions on the upper or lower surface of the light guiding section 3b. As will be described later, the lower magnet piece 5 is used for generating a transmission trigger, and the upper magnet piece 5' is used as a depth gate. used for purposes.

Next, the structure on the stationary side will be explained. Reference numerals 6 and 6' indicate light emitting elements such as LEDs, and one or more light emitting elements are disposed on the printed circuit board 7 or the like around the rotation axis facing the light entrance portion 3a to obtain a desired amount of light. Furthermore, level and other signal discrimination can be displayed by hue (color display).
In those cases, LEDs having two or three different emitting colors are arranged on the circumference. for example,
FIG. 3 shows a plan view of the LED 6 and light guiding member 3 shown in FIG. 1, and six LEDs are arranged at equal intervals. This LED has the same emitting color as well as
In the case of color display, 6r can be a red LED, 6g can be a green LED, and 6y can be a yellow LED.
The LED is then soldered to the printed circuit board 7. This printed circuit board 7 is used for processing the received signal into a display signal, and also for fixing other electronic components and, if necessary, the motor 1. 7a is a hole for the rotating shaft 2. In addition,
Reference numerals 8 and 8' denote Hall elements, for example, which are disposed near one point on the path along which the magnet pieces 5 and 5'rotate; 8 outputs pulses for a transmission trigger, and 8' outputs pulses for a depth gate. Reference numeral 9 denotes an indicator housing, and a connector 10 for electrically connecting an external power source, a transducer, etc. (not shown) to the printed circuit board 7 is provided at a suitable position on the bottom surface of the indicator housing.

Next, the display surface of the rotary display will be explained. Reference numeral 11 denotes a front panel, which is composed of a display section 11a and an operation section 11b (see FIG. 2). A rotary knob 12 coinciding with the rotation axis 2 is formed in the center of the display portion 11a, and an annular transparent window 13 is formed in the portion illuminated by the reflected light from the light emitting portion 3c so as to correspond to the rotation path thereof. . This will cause the LED
6 will be guided to the display section 11a side. Reference numeral 14 denotes a needle extending from the knob 12 that indicates the depth scale attached along the inner periphery (or outer periphery) of the window 13 for the convenience of the observer. Reference numeral 15 denotes a rotary arm which is rotated integrally with the knob 12 and rotates the Hall element 8' to the same depth position as the needle 14. Thereby, the Hall elements 8, 8' output pulses at the transmission timing and at the pointer depth timing of the needle 14, and a gate waveform can be formed during this period by a general pulse circuit (not shown). This is to check whether or not a seabed pulse is included in this gate waveform, and is useful for preventing strandings, identifying fish species, etc. The operation unit 11b includes switches 1 for detection range, ON-OFF, etc.
6, 16... are provided.

FIG. 4 shows a light guide member 3' having a shape different from the light guide member 3 in FIG.
The shape of a′ is simplified. Although not shown, the light emitting part 3c is formed by forming a plurality of rectangular teeth with an inclination of 45 degrees or less on the upper inner wall of the light entrance part 3a'.
The light guiding effect can be enhanced.

In FIG. 5, an optical fiber 17 can be used as the light guiding member as shown in FIG. 5 A and B. In other words, A is an LED placed above the light entrance part 17a.
6 (1 or 2 or more) is arranged to simplify the structure of the light entrance part 17a, and B is arranged on the lower side.
This simplifies the installation of LED6. In the case of (b), although the structure of the light entrance portion 17a' is somewhat complicated as shown in the figure, it is easy to arrange two or more LEDs.
In both cases, the horizontal portions of the optical fibers 17, 17' serve as light guiding portions, and the upward portions serve as light emitting portions.

In the rotary display of the present invention, the rotating body includes a light entrance part fixed to a rotation shaft, a light guide part extending in a radial direction from the light entrance part, and a tip of the light guide part attached to the back surface of the display surface. It is formed in a light guiding member consisting of an open light emitting part, and two or more light emitting elements facing the light input part are arranged on the stationary side around the rotation axis, and two or more of the LEDs as the light emitting elements are arranged on the stationary side around the rotation axis. It can be arranged around the rotating shaft on the stationary side so as to ensure that light enters the light receiving part under the same conditions, and a uniform desired amount of light can be obtained. If the light emitting elements are made to emit light of different colors, it is extremely easy to display the signal level and other signal discrimination in color by switching the emitted light color.
