CONSTITUTION:An under-carriage 1a is provided thereto with crawlers 5 and wheels 6 which are each attached to swingable members 8 that are attached to attaching plates 7 projected from the under-carriage 1a at front and rear positions in the traveling direction, by means of upper journalling parts 9 each composed of a shaft. Vertically moving cylinders 10 such as hydraulic cylinders are journalled and laid between the bottom section of the under-carriage 1a and the swingable members 8, and further, a rod 10a is journalled to a machine body side journalling part 11. With this arrangement, each of the wheels 6a comes to a position nearer to the machine body side journalling part 11 by a predetermined distance L when the cylinders 10 are retracted to its minimum length.
