Insert each from 01 to 203. Thereafter, using a mold 3 as shown in FIG. 1, the joint portion between the hose and the joint pipe 100 is placed in the mold 3 via the seal ring 4. Then, a molding material is injected into the cavity 31 from the gate 30, and a resin or rubber covering portion 300 is formed by injection molding. At this time, the covering part 300 contracts and solidifies during molding, and the hose is strongly held between the covering part 300 and the coupling tube 100, generating a high sealing force.

It is provided so as to face the thick portion 104 of the crotch portion of No. 2. However, according to this manufacturing method, the gate 3
Due to the concentrated injection pressure of the molding material injected from 0, the joint tube 100 was sometimes pushed and displaced together with the hose in the opposite direction from the side of the mold surface having the gate 30. If this happens, the cavity on the side of the mold surface with the gate 30 will expand and the molding material will flow preferentially into that area, which may cause the wall thickness of the covering part 300 to become uneven and the seal ring 4 to
There was a problem with the sealing force changing and causing burrs.

In a method for manufacturing a branch hose that forms a coating that integrally covers and holds the ends of a plurality of hoses inserted into the branch pipe, a gate is formed on the joint pipe surface between the end faces of a plurality of hoses inserted into the branch pipe. A groove is formed whose volume expands from the facing surface toward the opposite surface, so that when molding the covering part, the molding material flows preferentially through the groove to the opposite side of the surface facing the gate. shall be.

The number of branch pipes is not particularly limited as long as it is two or more. Further, the material of the coupling tube can be selected from metal, resin, ceramics, etc. The same number of hoses as the branch pipes are used, and each hose is inserted into the branch pipe and connected to the connecting pipe. This hose can be made of various materials depending on the purpose.

This is where the groove is formed. This groove may be configured such that, for example, the distance from the mold surface increases from the surface facing the gate to the opposite surface, that is, it gradually becomes deeper, or the groove gradually becomes wider. It can also be configured as follows. It may be configured to have both of these. With this configuration, when molding the covering portion, the molding material flows preferentially through the groove to the opposite side of the surface facing the gate.

It flows in the groove and turns to the opposite side of the coupling pipe. It then flows onto the surface of the hose inserted into each branch pipe. Therefore, uniform injection pressure is applied to the coupling tube and hose placed in the mold from substantially all directions, and displacement within the mold is prevented.

As shown in FIG. 2, this joint pipe 1 includes a thick-walled base 10, a branch pipe 11 protruding from the base 10 in three directions,
It is composed of 12 and 13. In addition, branch pipe 11
, 12, and 13 are in the same plane. A plurality of ring-shaped protrusions 14 for preventing the hose from coming off are coaxially formed on the outer peripheral surface of each of the branch pipes 11, 12, and 13. Further, a groove 15 is formed in the base 10, and the groove 15 widens in a fan shape and becomes deeper as it goes from the intermediate position (point P) between the branch pipe 11 and the branch pipe 12 toward the branch pipe 13.

The molding material injected from 0 first contacts point P and then flows along the groove 15 with low flow resistance, and then flows along the branch pipes 11, 12, and 13, respectively. Therefore, the injection pressure is not concentrated on a particular surface of the insert and is uniform, thereby preventing the insert from displacing within the mold 3 and maintaining the predetermined dimensions of the cavity 31. Moreover, the seal ring 4 reliably seals between the mold 3 and the insert.
