Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain quick restoration without using another device even when a terminal continues to output a request to send by turning off a send request signal when the send request signal is active beyond a period determined in a system. CONSTITUTION:The send request signal RS from the terminal 11 is supplied to a timer 2 and an AND gate 5. The maximum permissible time during which the terminal can occupy exclusively a line 18 in this system is set in the timer 2 by a DIP switch 3. When the signal RS is active beyond this maximum permissible time, the timer 2 outputs an abnormality signal. 末が1つの回線を共用するために、端末からのデータの
衝突が発生する可能性がある。そこで、CPUが回線の
専有制御を行ってデータの衝突防止を図っている。しか
しながら、このシステムにおいては、一台の端末が故障
し、その故障が送信要求を行ったままとなる故障である
場合、回線が当該端末に専有されたままの状態となり、
他の端末が回線を使用し得ないという問題点が生じてい
た。
