Abstract

PURPOSE:To install the duct easily and inexpensively without imparting to a ceiling larger spaces given over to such ducts by a method wherein upper and lower laminated woods are attached to the upper and lower end faces of floor joists and the ducts are formed in the spaces defined by the laminated woods. CONSTITUTION:A two-storied building 1 has a second story floor 3 installed on the upper part of a first floor wall 2 to divide this building into the rooms on the first and second stories. In this case, the conditioned air by an air conditioner 19 is sent into a main duct 8 laying along the middle of the second story floor 3. After a part of the conditioned air is sent into a subduct 9 provided in communication with both the sides of a main duct 8, it is supplied from air supply openings 17 and 18 formed in the laminated woods 16 and 13, 15 on both the upper and lower parts of the subduct 9 into the rooms on the first and second stories. The upper and lower laminated woods 16 and 13, 15 are attached to both the upper and lower end faces of floor joists 5 and 6 forming a floor framework 4 of the second story floor 3 and the spaces thus defined are used as the main duct 8 and the subduct 9.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, when constructing walls and floors, various housing construction methods have been adopted depending on the structure of the house. To explain the construction method, first, wood with a cross section of 2 x 4 inches or wood with a cross section length that is an integral multiple of 4 inches with the 2 inches intact is used.
A plurality of the timbers (floor joists) are arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals on the upper part of the first floor wall that has already been constructed at the construction site. Next, in the space sandwiched by the floor joists,
A rectangular short rod-shaped anti-rolling material is placed perpendicularly to the floor joist material so that its upper end surface is aligned with the upper end surface of the floor joist material,
Arranged at predetermined intervals. Further, plywood is attached to the upper end surfaces of the floor joists and the anti-rolling material to construct a second floor.

According to the duct apparatus of this embodiment constructed in this manner, as described above, the floor joists 5..., 6... forming the floor frame 4 of the second floor 3, and the floor joists 5... , 6... Since the space surrounded by the upper plywood 16 and the lower plywood 13, 15 attached to the upper and lower end surfaces, respectively, is used as the main duct 8 or the sub-ducts 9, 9, these ducts are There is no need to secure additional space for installation. Therefore, as before,
It is possible to effectively utilize the living space of the building 1 without unnecessarily enlarging the ceiling of the first floor.

Furthermore, in the above embodiment, heat insulating materials 10, 11, 11 are provided inside the main duct 8 and sub ducts 9, 9, respectively, and extend continuously in the length direction of the main duct 8 and sub ducts 9, 9. Although an example of fitting is shown, anti-rolling materials are fitted and fixed at predetermined intervals inside the main duct 8 and sub-ducts 9, 9.
A heat insulating material may be intermittently fitted into the space partitioned by these anti-rolling materials. In this case, the anti-rolling material needs to be not just a short rectangular rod, but a rectangular receiving framework to ensure an air flow path.

As explained above, according to the duct device of the present invention, since the space between the floor joists constituting the floor is used as a duct, it can be used in addition to the panel construction method. It can also be suitably applied to prefabricated houses using the two-by-four construction method. In addition, the duct can be formed at the same time as the floor is laid, simplifying on-site construction. Further, since extra space required for duct placement is not required, it is possible to avoid increasing the size of the ceiling portion and to make effective use of space within the building. Further, since there is no need to prepare a new duct, the cost for the duct and the arrangement of the duct can be reduced.
