As shown in Publication No. 40-31936, a supporting member is fixed to each building frame, a plurality of spring members are attached to the supporting member along the above-mentioned gap, and a cover material is fixed only to the spring member. Alternatively, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-80509, a spring receiving member is arranged between each building frame, and a cover is inserted between the spring receiving member and the cover material via a spring. There are known methods for attaching materials. All of these have a structure in which the cover material is attached via springs, so when the opposing building frames move in relatively different directions due to uneven settlement, vibration, etc., the spring member and spring receiver A spring member such as a member is deflected to prevent deformation of the cover material, and the cover material can respond to the deformation. However, there is a limit to the deformation of a spring member, and if it bends beyond this spring stress limit, one spring member alone will not be able to withstand the deformation pressure and will not return to its original shape. Sometimes I put it away.
For this reason, after the frame structure movement is completed, the cover material loses its pressing force against the building frame and a gap is created between the two, which may cause the cover function to be impaired or the cover material to fall off. On the other hand, increasing the elasticity of the spring conversely has the disadvantage that the adhesion strength of the cover material to the building frame decreases.

する。(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the expansion joint according to the present invention fixes supporting members to building frames provided at intervals, and attaches the above-mentioned support members to each of these supporting members. Both sides of a plurality of substantially W-shaped spring members arranged at intervals along the gap are engaged, and the gap is connected to the support member via the spring members or a holder for attaching a cover material attached to the spring members. In the expansion joint to which the covering material is attached, a fixing member is protruded from the center of the cover material or the holder for attaching the cover material to the back side, and the fixing member is penetrated into the convex curved part at the center of the spring member. a first elastic member is disposed between the distal end of the fixing member and the back surface of the central convex portion of the spring member; It is characterized in that a second elastic member is disposed between the back surface of both side inclined parts.

Therefore, even if the building frames move apart or approach each other due to relative movement of the opposing building frames, and the gap between the building frames becomes wider or narrower, the elastic member will not respond to such displacement. Can absorb part of the displacement. Moreover, the first elastic member can cope with displacement in the vertical direction of the spring member, and the second elastic member can cope with displacement in the lateral direction. The response force of the spring member is expanded and improved, so that the cover material is not deformed and its end portions can always be kept in a good state of tight contact with both building frames.

2, the elasticity of the spring member 3 and the first elastic member 6
Therefore, even if the displacement of the opposing building frames 1, 1 is large, the first elastic member 6 and the second elastic member 7 can absorb a part of the displacement. The response force of the spring member 3 is expanded and improved, so that the cover material 4 is not deformed and can always be tightly and tightly bonded to both building frames 1, 1 at all times. In other words, when only the spring member 3 is used, which widens the gap S between the building frames as the building frames 1 and 1 move, the spring member 3 is pulled to both sides and deformed, as shown by the dashed line in FIG. death,
The convex curved portion 3a rises. However, at this time the first
The elastic member 6 extends laterally and is prevented from rising together with the fixing member 5 and the second elastic member 7, so the cover material 4 is held in the same position and there is no gap between it and the building frame 1. occurrence is prevented. On the other hand, when only the spring member 3 is used, which narrows the gap S between the building frames as the building frames 1 and 1 move, the spring member 3 is pushed into the center and deformed, forming a convex shape, as shown by the dotted line in the figure. The degree of curvature of the curved portion 3a increases and it sinks into the inter-frame gap S. However, at this time, as the first elastic member 6 contracts,
Since the second elastic member 7 acts synergistically to prevent the convex curved portion 3a from curving, the fixing member 5 is prevented from sinking, and unreasonable force is prevented from being applied to the cover material 4. Note that, in normal cases, the spring force of the spring member 3 may be set to be equal to or greater than the elasticity of the first elastic member 6 and the second elastic member 7.

The second elastic member 7 may be configured to be fastened or clamped to both inclined portions of the second elastic member 7, or as shown in FIG.
