Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance attractive appearance and to improve adjustment workability in a wall device provided with a plurality of wall plates and having an adjusting function of sound effect by means of posture of the wall plates by smoothing and synchronizing movement of respective wall plates. CONSTITUTION:Required quantity of wall plates 10 each having a reflection plate 24 at least in a room interior side is rotatably provided, respective wall plates 10 are connected to each other by means of a rod-like transmission member 31 so that respective wall plates 10 can be turned synchronously, and a drive member 32 is connected to the rod-like transmission member 31 with the same connecting condition as that of the wall plate 10 to the transmission member 31. A motor 38 is connected to the transmission 31 and rotation of the motor 38 is decelerated by means of a reduction mechanism including inverter control 47, 48. Rotation speed of the motor 38 is reduced to desired speed to be transmitted to all the wall plates 10 so as to adjust posture of the wall plates 10.

[0003] The time it takes for sound generated in a room such as a theater to disappear is called reverberation time, and the length of the reverberation time depends on the properties of sound reflection and absorption of the members that make up the room. In general, when events such as music require rich reverberations, it is desirable to have a property with a long reverberation time, and when events such as lectures require clear audibility, it is desirable to have a property with a short reverberation time. It is desirable that there be.

[0032] When it is necessary to adjust the acoustic effects such as adjusting the reverberation time using the wall board 10, such as when a concert is held,
The rotation speed and rotation direction of the wall plate 10 are commanded from the operation panel 46. In response to a command from the operation panel 46, the control circuit 47 and the inverter 48 reduce the rotational speed of the motor 38 to a required state and drive the motor 38 to rotate at an extremely low speed. The driven motor 38 rotates the drive link 32 via the chain 41, driven sprocket 40, and drive shaft 39. The rotation of the drive link 32 is transmitted to the driven link 29 of each wall plate 10 via the transmission link 31. Drive link 32 and driven link 29
The two are in a parallel link relationship, and exactly the same movement is transmitted.
