Conventionally, in infusion therapy using an infusion line that connects an intravenous catheter to an infusion tube,
Infusions may be interrupted for an extended period of time, in which case the infusion tube should be removed from the intravenous catheter.
A cap with a rubber stopper called an injection plug is attached to the proximal end of the intravenous catheter (connection to the infusion tube), and if it becomes necessary to temporarily administer an infusion while the infusion is interrupted, it can be used separately. The puncture needle of the infusion line of the route was pierced through the rubber stopper of the injection plug, and the intravenous catheter was communicated with the infusion line of another route to perform infusion.

However, with conventional venous catheters using injection extension plugs, the puncture needle of the infusion line for a different route is simply inserted into the rubber stopper of the injection extension plug, so the patient cannot move or move during infusion treatment. When hooked, the puncture needle may fall out of the rubber stopper, and since a portion of the puncture needle is exposed to the outside air, there is a risk of infection from the air, which is a problem. The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned problems, and it prevents the puncture needle of the infusion line routed to another route from falling out during infusion treatment, and also isolates the puncture needle from the outside air and prevents the puncture needle from coming out from the mixed injection site. It is an object of the present invention to provide a venous catheter with a co-injection part that can prevent the entry of bacteria.

The venous catheter with a co-infusion section of the present invention has a male coupling means on the outer wall of the stopper holding frame of the co-infusion section, and a female coupling means corresponding to the male coupling means is provided on the puncture needle side. After preparing an infusion line and puncturing the rubber stopper of the mixed injection part with the puncture needle of this infusion line, the male coupling means of the catheter and the female coupling means of the infusion line are connected firmly. be done. Furthermore, since the connecting means for the catheter and the infusion line are configured to be airtightly connected to each other, the puncture needle of the infusion line is shielded from the outside air, and the puncture needle does not fall out of the rubber stopper during use. , infection from the air is reliably prevented.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a catheter according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2-1 is a cross-sectional view of the main part in the longitudinal direction in FIG. 1, and FIG. FIG. 2 is an explanatory view of the main parts of an infusion tube equipped with female coupling means corresponding to male coupling means. As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2-1, the catheter of the present invention has a tubular connecting part 1 connected to a tube 2 with a small diameter, and the connecting part 1 has a mixed injection part 4, The present invention is characterized in that a male screw 6 serving as a male coupling means is provided on the outer wall of a stopper holding frame 5 that supports the rubber stopper 3 of the mixed injection section 1. The catheter can be airtightly coupled to an infusion line 7 having a female coupling means, specifically a female thread 10, in a shape corresponding to the male thread 6 at its connecting end, as shown in FIG. 2-2. It is configured as follows. That is, when the puncture needle 9 of the infusion line 7 is inserted into the rubber stopper 3 of the mixed injection section 4 of the catheter to connect the catheter and the infusion line, the two are airtightly and firmly connected. The catheter of the present invention will be explained in more detail below. The co-injection part 4 is an injection part for adding medicine, etc. from another infusion line during infusion treatment, and is a tubular body having one or more liquid inlets and one liquid outlet. At the inlet,
A rubber stopper 3, which is a stopper made of a rubber-like elastic material, is mounted in a liquid-tight manner, and is supported from the outside by a stopper holding frame 5 so that the rubber stopper 3 does not come off. The outer wall of the stopper holding frame 5 has a male screw 6 as a male coupling means.
is formed. The material for forming the stopper is a rubber-like elastic body, such as natural rubber or synthetic rubber such as butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, isoprene rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, butyl rubber, chloroprene rubber,
Nitrile rubber, acrylic rubber, urethane rubber, silicone rubber, etc. can be used, and natural rubber, isoprene rubber, chloroprene rubber, and silicone rubber are particularly suitable because they have low puncture resistance and good sealing properties. The male coupling means is a means for coupling a connected object (hereinafter typically referred to as an infusion line) having a puncture needle at its connection end, and although this coupling means does not function alone, it is shown in Fig. 2-2. The infusion line 7 is connected in cooperation with a female coupling means provided at the connecting end of the infusion line 7 as shown in FIG. Therefore, the shape of the female coupling means of the infusion line 7 differs depending on the shape of the male coupling means, and the male coupling means of the catheter and the female coupling means of the infusion line 7 are different from the male screw 6 in the figure. Like the female thread 10, it has a complementary shape. The male coupling means is formed on the outer wall of the stopper holding frame 5 of the mixed injection section 4, and after puncturing the puncture needle 9 of the infusion line 7 into the rubber stopper 3 of the mixed injection section 4, the catheter and the infusion line 7 are connected. When inserting the puncture needle 9 into the rubber stopper 3
In order to prevent rotation within the infusion line 7.
The cup-shaped member 8 is rotatably provided with respect to the infusion line 7. The tube 2 is the main body of the catheter, and when the catheter is used, the free end of the tube 2 is placed in the patient's vein, and a medicinal solution or the like is introduced from the co-injection part 4 to perform infusion therapy. The material for forming the tube 2 is a soft synthetic resin, but since it is placed in a vein, biocompatibility is required, and for example, soft vinyl chloride resin, polyurethane, silicone rubber, etc. can be suitably used. Next, a method of using the venous catheter of the present invention will be explained. First, as shown in FIG. 2-2, an infusion line 7 having a female thread 10 on the inner wall of a cup-shaped member 8 as a female coupling means is prepared, and the puncture needle 9 of the infusion line 7 is inserted into the rubber stopper 3 of the catheter. Puncture. Then, while holding the catheter with one hand, rotate the cup-shaped member 8 of the infusion line 7 with the other hand in the direction in which the screw is tightened. is firmly coupled to the catheter.

As is clear from the above explanation, by employing the venous catheter of the present invention, the following effects can be obtained. (1) Since the infusion line does not come off during treatment, sheets and patient's clothing will not be contaminated by the drug solution. (2) The structure allows for airtight connection of infusion lines.
It is possible to completely prevent infection from the mixed injection part due to outside air.
