Conventionally, when heating a room with an electric stove or the like, it was possible to raise the temperature, but at the same time, the humidity tended to decrease and the air became dry. but,
Since too dry air is not good for health, some electric heaters were equipped with evaporation devices for humidification to prevent the indoor humidity from dropping. In this structure, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a water tank 15 is provided in the upper part of the electric stove 14, one end of a U-shaped tube 13 is connected to the lower end of this water tank 15, and the other end is connected to the bottom end of the water tank 15. A tube 1 whose end is connected to an evaporator 16 opened on the top surface of the electric stove 14 and located below the evaporator 16
3 is replaced with a copper pipe 11, and the circumferential surface of the copper pipe 11 is heated with a heating means 12 such as a bobbin heater coated with insulation by winding a nichrome wire into a coil, thereby removing the water in the copper pipe 11. It was designed to be evaporated and discharged from the evaporation port 16.

The operation of this embodiment will be explained. Fill the water tank 6 with water from the water supply port 8. Water reaches the water-absorbing ceramic body 1 through the tube 4 and is sucked upward from the suction 1b at the bottom. At the same time as the main heater 9 of the electric stove 5 is turned on, the evaporator A is turned on. At the same time as the indoor air is warmed by the main heater 9, the evaporator A is also warmed by the heating means 3, and steam is evaporated from the evaporation part 1a at the upper part of the water-absorbing ceramic body 1 and discharged from the evaporation port 7. Increase indoor humidity.

According to the configuration of this embodiment, since the water-absorbing ceramic body 1 is provided in a part of the tube 4 that connects the water tank 6 and the evaporation port 7, even if the kerosene stove 5 falls over, the water-absorbing ceramic body 1 serves as a water stop valve, and water does not suddenly flow out from the evaporation port 7. Further, since the water-impermeable layer 2 is formed on the circumferential surface of the water-absorbing ceramic body 1, the water absorbed in the water-absorbing ceramic body 1 does not ooze out from the surface and does not adversely affect the heating means 3 and the like. Moreover, when water is absorbed into the water-absorbing ceramic body 1, the amount of water is smaller than before.
Moreover, since it is easily heated through the water-absorbing ceramic body 1, steam can be generated with a small amount of heat, and the efficiency of evaporation is improved.

Further, in the above embodiment, the water-absorbing ceramic body 1 is shaped like a round bar, but it may have any shape, and may be shaped like a plate. In this case, the heating means 3 may be a planar heater.

According to the evaporator of this invention, a water-absorbing ceramic body is provided with an evaporation section at the top and a suction section at the bottom, and an impermeable layer is formed on the circumferential surface of the body, so that the water-absorbing ceramic body absorbs water. , water will not suddenly flow out even if the device is tipped over.
Moreover, the water absorbed by the water-absorbing ceramic body does not ooze out from the surface and does not have any adverse effect on the heating means or the like. In addition, when water is absorbed into the water-absorbing ceramic body, the amount of water is small and is more easily heated through the water-absorbing ceramic body, so steam can be generated with a small amount of heat. This has the effect of increasing evaporation efficiency.
