Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the moving work of commodities, arranged in a deep part, to the front part of a showcase as well as the filling work of the commodities by a method wherein a commodity shelf is provided with a belt conveyer having a belt capable of running into fore-and-rear direction to receive the commodities on the belt so as to display them. CONSTITUTION:A commodity shelf 4 is provided with a belt 15 capable of running into fore-and-rear direction by applying a force by pushing upwardly or downwardly the fore end of the belt 15 by hand. When commodities are received on the belt 15 for display them, the upper side belt 15 is supported by the upper plate 11b of a shelf plate 11 whereby the posture of the belt will never be collapsed even when the commodities are put on the belt rather excessively. When the commodities on the fore part of the belt 15 are sold, the belt 15 is run and the commodities at the rear part of the showcase can be moved forward easily whereby the commodities are displayed so as to be readily observed and/or taken out by customers. On the other hand, when the arrangement of the commodities is charged or the commodities are filled into the showcase, the commodities are put on the fore part of the belt 15 and the belt 15 is run backward sequentially whereby the commodities can be filled to a sufficiently deep part of the showcase without inserting hands into the deep part of the commodity shelf 4.
