2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 3 shows a conventional see-through escalator. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a main body frame generally called a truss or the like, which is installed diagonally between the upper and lower floors 2 and 3 of a building with its both ends hooked. Although not shown, various devices such as steps, their guide rails, and drive devices are installed inside the main body frame 1, and a pair of left and right handrails 4 are erected on the upper side.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the conventional see-through escalator described above, each glass plate 5 is fitted and fixed to the outer surface of the main body frame 1 in a roller-like manner, so it is difficult to repair these glass plates 5. When cleaning or cleaning, remove the escalator steps and skirt guards.
In this state, a worker crawls into the main body frame 1 and
It is necessary to reach through the gap between the guide rails and the like from within the main body frame 1 and wipe the back side of the glass plate 5, which requires a lot of setup and difficult work due to unnatural posture. There were drawbacks.

First, FIG. 1 shows a see-through escalator of the present invention. A large number of glass plates 5 as exterior panels are provided on both outer surfaces of the intermediate portion of the main body frame 11 of this see-through escalator that is exposed in the space between the upper and lower floors 2 and 3.
is attached by means described later, and has a see-through structure through which the inside of the main body frame 1 can be seen.

[0013] Here, the mounting structure of the glass plate 5 is shown in FIG. First, exterior frames 21 are disposed along the longitudinal direction on both outer sides of the side beams 11a of the main body frame 11. This exterior frame 21 is made of channel steel material to form the main body frame 1.
It has a truss-like frame similar to the side beam 11a in No. 1, and its lower end is supported by hanging on the lower floor 2 via a triangular platform-shaped support fitting 22, and the upper end is supported by a support fitting on the upper floor 3. It is latched and supported via 23.

A triangular glass plate 5 is fitted into the inner peripheral surface of the frame 25 with a glass frame 25 interposed therebetween. Moreover, the glass frame 25 is attached and supported by the receiving frame 24 by a pair of hinges 26, so that the glass plate 5 can be opened and closed. Further, a lock 27 as a locking means is attached to the side opposite to the hinge 26.

A presser metal fitting 28 made of C-shaped channel steel is welded and fixed to the receiving frame 24, and this presser metal fitting 28 is finally attached to the main body frame 1 with bolts.
The main body frame 11 and the exterior frame 21 are temporarily fixed to the side beams 11a of the main body frame 11 to prevent a gap from forming between the body frame 11 and the exterior frame 21.

According to the see-through escalator having the above-described structure, when cleaning the glass plate 5, first, the lock 27 of the glass frame 25 of the exterior frame 21 is released, and the glass plate 5 is removed from the exterior frame 21. , it opens via a hinge 26 . This makes it very easy to repair and clean the front and back surfaces of the glass plate 5 without removing steps or skirt guards or crawling into the main body frame 11 as in the conventional case.

[0017] Also, this exterior frame 21 is connected to the main body frame 11.
Apart from this, the main body frame 1 is supported by a support fitting 22 on the lower floor 2 and a support fitting 23 on the upper floor 3 of the building.
Since the load of this exterior frame 21, receiving frame 24, and multiple glass plates 5 is not applied to 1, the main body frame 11 is designed in the same way as that of a general escalator without considering the load burden of the glass plates 5, etc.・It will get better if you make it.
