The winding angle is determined, and azimuth deviation occurs depending on the verticality of the tape guide pins 3 and 4.
The azimuth adjustment of this head 8 can be adjusted with the screw 10, and the tilt adjustment can be done with the screw 12.
However, even if the tape cassette 2 is adjusted once, there will still be an azimuth shift when replacing the tape cassette 2 with sides A and B, or between forward and reverse rotations, and the playback output will change. The disadvantage was that the difference, output fluctuation, etc. became large.

In order to overcome these drawbacks, it would be possible to improve the accuracy of the tape cassette, but since the tape cassette is molded of resin, there is a limit to the accuracy improvement, and this has been an extremely difficult problem.

Purpose of the invention The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems.
The purpose of this invention is to eliminate, on the apparatus side, the output difference between A and B sides that cannot be satisfied with a tape cassette, the output difference when reversing the tape, or an increase in level fluctuations.

Structure of the Invention The present invention involves inserting a pair of tape running regulating members together with a recording/playback head between a pair of tape guide pins installed on the left and right sides of the opening of a tape cassette, and adjusting at least the recording/playback head in the tilt direction. This allows the tape to run stably.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS FIG. 2 is a top view of a head device according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which the same parts as in the conventional device of FIG. 1 are given the same numbers. Reference numeral 16 denotes a tape running regulating member support plate, and numerals 17 and 18 indicate tape running regulating members, which regulate not only the tape running path but also the height of the tape running. 19 is a tape running regulating member support plate 1

As described above, according to this embodiment, before mounting the recording/reproducing head 8 on the tape running regulating member support plate 16, the magnetic tape 5 is run to check the contact of the tape running regulating members 17, 18 with the magnetic tape 5. Check its left and right height, i.e. adjust the horizontal inclination with the screws 20 and adjust the tilting direction with the screws 23. Next, place the recording/playback head 8 on the head mounting plate 7 and the tape travel regulating member support plate 16. Attach and run the tape, then press the recording/playback head 8.
The tilt is adjusted using the screw 12, and then the tape cassette containing the test tape is played back and the azimuth is adjusted using the screw 10. When making these adjustments, make sure that the tape edge runs while coming into contact with the same regulating portion of the tape running regulating members 17 and 18, as shown in Fig. 4, whether the tape cassette is on the A side or B side, or when rotating forward or in reverse. By adjusting the tilt of the recording and reproducing head 8 in such a manner, extremely stable tape running can be obtained without being affected by the verticality of the tape guide pins 3 and 4 of the tape cassette 2. Of course, the vertical position can be controlled by making the width of the tape regulating portion of the tape travel regulating members 17, 18 equal to or slightly larger than the tape width.

Note that the tape running regulating members 17 and 18 may be similar in that they regulate the tape only on one side as shown in FIG.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a pair of tape travel regulating members that enter between the tape guide pins together with the recording/playback head from the opening of a tape cassette that has a pair of tape guide pins on the left and right sides of the inside, and At least the recording/playback head is installed so that it can be adjusted in the tilt direction.This allows extremely good tape running without being affected by the tape guide pins provided on the tape cassette, and improves the performance of the tape cassette. This can absorb variations and improve compatibility, making it possible to realize an excellent head device.

A recording/playback head and a pair of tape running regulating members enter between both tape guide pins from an opening of a tape cassette having a pair of tape guide pins on the left and right sides of the inside, and the tape running regulating members are moved in the tilting direction and in the left and right directions. A head device comprising: a tape travel regulating member support member that is adjustable and supports the recording/reproducing head on the support member so as to be adjustable in the tilting direction and in the left-right direction.
