[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the seedling raising container using the above means, the opening easily deforms during the process of drying the sheet material after molding, making it difficult to sow seeds or carry in bed soil through the opening. There was a problem in that it was difficult to obtain the desired good seedling-raising conditions. Therefore, an attempt was made to punch out an opening on the top surface of the pot part by press working, but since the material was soft paper, the area of the opening was narrow because it was necessary to widen the supporting part of the mold around the punch. Even with this method, it was still difficult to sow seeds or bring in bed soil through the openings. In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a seedling-growing container that can form a seeding opening with less deformation and an effective area by devising the opening formation process.

[Means for Solving the Problems] To achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a method for producing a seedling-raising container for potted seedlings, in which a paper pot sheet is formed in which a large number of upwardly bulging pot portions are arranged in parallel vertically and horizontally. The present invention is characterized in that openings for seeding are formed in the upper portions of the pot portions by cutting the top portions of a large number of pot portions along the direction in which the pot portions are arranged side by side using a cutting means. In addition, the pot portions may be formed into an upper converging shape, or the upper portions of the plurality of pot portions may be cut so that the cross-sectional area in the juxtaposed direction of the pot portions is constant within a predetermined range in the vertical direction. It is convenient to form a part.

[Operation] According to the structure of claim 1, the step of forming the openings can be performed after the paper pot sheet is formed, that is, in a state where the paper pot sheet is dried and the shape is stable, so that deformation of the openings after the openings are formed can be prevented. It becomes like this. Since the opening is made by cutting the upper part of the pot part in the pot juxtaposition direction, that is, by the side wall part of the pot part which bulges upward, compared to the conventional means of forming an opening on the upper surface of the pot,
The opening area of the pot can be increased without changing the volume of the pot. In the structure of claim 2, by adjusting the cutting position by the cutting means in the vertical direction, the opening area can be changed and adjusted. In the structure of claim 3, since the opening is formed by cutting with the cutting portion at the top of the pot, the cutting position may be slightly shifted vertically due to errors in the arrangement dimensions of the equipment or the paper pot sheet itself. Even if there is a problem, the opening area can be maintained at the set value.

[Effects of the Invention] Therefore, in any of the methods for producing a container for growing potted seedlings according to claims 1 to 3, the opening for sowing can be formed to have a sufficient opening area and be in a state with little deformation. It was possible to successfully raise seedlings. In the method for manufacturing a container for raising seedlings in pots according to claim 2, the opening area can be easily changed, so that the opening area can be changed and adjusted in response to differences in varieties, differences in the properties of the soil supplied, etc. This can contribute to raising good potted seedlings. The method for producing a container for growing potted seedlings according to the third aspect has the advantage that an opening having a desired area can be formed without being affected by the precision of the cutting process equipment.

That is, the paper pot sheet 2 is placed upside down on the transfer conveyor 4, and several conveyor wires 4a along the transfer direction are located in the valley between the pot parts 1, and By providing connecting members 5 that connect several parallel wires 4a at regular intervals in the transport direction, the paper pot sheet 2 is pushed back and forcibly transported. Then, a cutting means B consisting of a pair of drive rollers 6, 6 and a band saw 7 wound around these rollers is installed below the transfer conveyor 4, and the saw teeth of the band saw 7 are perpendicular to the transfer direction of the paper pot sheet 2. Rotate the drive with. A polisher 9 for polishing the sawteeth is provided at the lower sawtooth portion of the pot portion 1 which does not have a cutting action, and is configured so that when the cutting means B is activated, the sawtooth is polished at the same time as cutting. be. Further, on the transfer conveyor 4, a horizontally long cylindrical rotating roller 8 is arranged at a position just above the cutting means B.

Next, to explain the operation, the paper pot sheet 2 is transferred by the transfer conveyor 4, and the paper pot sheet 2 is transferred to the pot section 1.
The top part of the paper pot sheet 2 is sequentially cut from the upper side in the transport direction by the cutting means B at the side wall 1a portion to form an opening 3 in the pot part 1. At the time of cutting, the rotating roller 8 prevents the paper pot sheet 2 from lifting up. It effectively prevents it. The cut waste sheets are discharged by a discharge guide 10 provided between the upper and lower sides of the band saw 7 without falling onto the band saw 7. In this inverted cutting process, the waste sheet is removed from the pot section 1.
It is advantageous in that it is difficult to get inside. The above cutting step is preferably carried out after the paper pot sheet 2 has been strained and dried (moisture content: 12 to 13%).
In order to prevent the sheet 2 from warping, it is desirable to carry out this process when the moisture content reaches approximately 20%. Alternatively, the cutting process may be performed without inverting the paper pot sheet 2.
