Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a magneto-optical recorder and a magnetic head which facilitate alignment between an optical head and the magnetic head and recording on both the surfaces of a magneto-optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Through-holes 8 through which a converged light is passed are provided in the cores 5 of magnetic heads 3A and the magnetic heads 3A are attached to optical heads 2 so as to handle the optical head 2 and the magnetic head 3A as one unit.
