Conventional technology Conventionally, CATV amplifiers, public listening equipment, etc.
CATV transmission equipment is attached to utility poles or messenger wires, and each device is connected by a signal transmission cable. If an abnormality occurs in the device, it is difficult to replace the device itself because a signal transmission cable is connected to the device itself. Therefore, it is easier to replace the unit inside the equipment or replace the entire internal part. The power source for driving the equipment is a commercial power source lowered to several tens of volts using a transformer, and is supplied directly using a power cable or by being superimposed on a signal transmission cable.

In Figs. 7 and 8, relay connection terminal 2
When an external force is applied to 1 and 22, they are easily deformed and the contact between the core wire and the relay connection terminal is likely to be incomplete. Furthermore, due to manufacturing variations, the core wire 10
If the relative positions of the terminals and the relay connection terminals 21 and 22 are even slightly shifted, the contact becomes incomplete, resulting in a decrease in reliability. Therefore, it has been desired to develop a highly reliable relay connection terminal that allows for easy replacement of the printed circuit board, secure contact between the core wire of the plug and the relay connection terminal.

Function The relay connection terminal of the present invention is provided with a substantially U strip-shaped contact piece fixed to an insulating case on the printed circuit board side, and the core wire of the connector and the substantially U strip-shaped contact piece on the printed circuit board fit together to establish a relay connection. By doing so, it is possible to transmit signals, and by providing an opening on the core wire insertion side of the insulating case that fixes the approximately U strip contact piece, the core wire can be attached and detached in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the core wire. Printed circuit boards can be easily attached and detached.

Furthermore, the insulating case prevents external force from being applied to the direct relay connection terminal, protects the relay connection terminal from deformation, and ensures dimensional accuracy. In addition, when the approximately U strip-shaped contact piece and the core wire are fitted together, the opening in the insulating case has a guiding function, so that even if the relative position of the approximately U strip-shaped contact piece and the core wire varies, the insulating case will remain stable. The guide allows for smooth insertion and mating. In addition, since the approximately U-band contact piece itself has a flexible function, even if the core wire is slightly misaligned, the contact piece itself can follow and move, allowing for more reliable contact and reliability. can be improved.

2 and the core wire 10 of the connector fit together, and the core wire 10 of the connector
- The relay connection terminal 5 and the printed circuit board 3 can be electrically connected. Incidentally, the connector 1 may be first fixed to the case 2, the printed circuit board 3 may be slid, and the core wire 10 of the connector may be fitted with the relay connection terminal 5 for connection. The terminal tip 11 of the relay connection terminal 5 can be inserted and fitted smoothly even if the core wire 10 of the plug and the substantially U-shaped contact piece 12 are misaligned, the terminal tip 11 serves as a guide.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention prevents deformation of the U strip contact piece due to external forces such as impact during handling or transportation of parts by fixing the relay connection terminal to the insulating case and integrating it. The U-band contact piece allows the core wire of the plug and the U-band contact piece to reliably fit and connect even if a slight positional shift occurs, maintaining a stable contact state and improving reliability.
