2. Description of the Related Art Patterns have been conventionally applied to the surface of aluminum or aluminum alloys. For example, combinations of various dyes or pigments that take advantage of the adsorption properties of porous oxide films on aluminum or its alloys and anodic oxidation treatments are disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 34-3863 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 4.
Japanese Patent Publication No. 35-15676 discloses a method in which a resist material is coated or printed in a pattern on an anodic oxide film, and the same type of anodic oxidation treatment is further applied. The former method allows you to obtain a wide range of colors, but the color tone changes and fades even after sealing or painting after dyeing, and it has poor weather resistance, so it is not suitable for long-term use. The disadvantages are that the range of coloring is extremely narrow, the utility value is small, and the cost is high. Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-3895 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-21459 disclose a method that eliminates these drawbacks, has simple steps, is excellent in weather resistance, and is capable of coloring over a wide range of colors. Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-3895 discloses that after coating or printing a resist film on the surface of aluminum or its alloy material according to the pattern, a barrier film layer is formed by a primary anodic oxidation treatment,
After removing the resist film, a colored film is generated by a second anodic oxidation treatment. Since the film is removed and then chemical film formation is applied, the patterned surface has excellent weather resistance, is resistant to discoloration and fading, requires only a short processing time, and is inexpensive. However, in both of these two methods, the resist film is applied or printed directly on the surface of the material according to the pattern, so the adhesion of the ink in the resist film to the surface of the material is poor, resulting in peeling of the film and damage to the pattern lines. The pattern may be etched and the pattern lines may be distorted and the pattern may not be clear.

[Means and operations for solving the problems] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention temporarily seals the surface of aluminum or its alloy member on which an anodic oxide film has been formed, and then the surface is colored or After applying or printing a colorless resist film in a pattern, etching was performed to generate a secondary oxide film different from the anodic oxide film, and a secondary temporary sealing treatment was performed as necessary. Thereafter, the resist film is removed and a sealing treatment is performed to form a sealing film layer of different colors. The present invention provides a patterned aluminum or alloy member thereof, a display thereof, and a manufacturing method thereof.

The present invention will be explained in detail below. After etching treatment by a conventional method, for example, 150 A/m by a conventional method.
2 for 13 to 45 minutes to temporarily seal the surface of aluminum or its alloy having a previously formed anodic oxide film of 6 to 20 μm. A commonly used complete sealing treatment method is a boiling water treatment method, i.e., a hot water treatment at 90°C for 20 minutes or more (3 minutes per 1 μm of film layer) in a bath of water alone or with a nickel salt added, preferably This is carried out by hot water treatment at 95°C for 30 minutes or more. In the present invention, it is necessary to perform a temporary sealing process under conditions that are gentler than the above-mentioned complete sealing process, and for convenience, the term "temporary sealing process" is given below, but the temporary sealing process conditions are as follows: For example, hot water treatment is carried out at 60°C containing 8 g/I of nickel salt for 5 to 30 minutes, and then the temperature is higher than the above, for example, at 100°C for 5 seconds to 5 minutes, using high-temperature hot water. The process is carried out for a short period of time under conditions where the temperature and time are set and adjusted appropriately. In addition, when using a room-temperature sealant with the above setting conditions, use the room-temperature sealant of Anodal CS-1 manufactured by Hanami Chemical Co., Ltd. at a concentration of 10 to 20 g/I and a processing temperature of 15 to 35°C.
It is used under the condition that the processing time is 30 seconds to 10 minutes and the settings are adjusted appropriately. In the case of boiling water treatment, the preferable temporary sealing treatment conditions are 95° C. for 3 minutes. In the case of room temperature sealing agent treatment, the treatment conditions are preferably a concentration of 15 g/I, a temperature of 26 to 30° C., and a time of 1 minute and 30 seconds to 3 minutes. This temporary pore sealing treatment that does not impair the adhesion between the anodic oxide film and the ink prevents the colored ink in the resist film from penetrating into the pattern lines in the next resist film generation process. In addition to improving the aesthetic appearance, it is possible to obtain an appearance with no peeling of the resist film and no distortion of the set pattern line due to the formation of the next anodic oxide film. The coating and printing of the resist film are carried out by conventional methods. When a resist film is formed as a pattern, it can be formed on a pattern part that forms a pattern, or when it is formed on a part other than the pattern part that is reversed with the pattern part. It will be done.

After forming the resist film, it is heated at 30°C to 50°C for 15 minutes to 25 minutes using a 5% NaOH solution, for example, by a conventional method.
Etching is carried out to a depth equal to or greater than the thickness of the anodic oxide film, and a second anodic oxidation is performed in a conventional manner to form a second anodic oxide film. Temporary sealing treatment is performed again under these conditions. This temporary sealing process can be omitted, but if this process is not performed, the color may be eluted and dissolved in the solvent in the next resist removal film process using solvent treatment. Therefore, it can be said that it is preferable to perform this second temporary sealing treatment as much as possible. After removing the resist film by a conventional method, a complete sealing treatment is performed by a generally applied conventional method. Preferably, boiling water treatment is performed at 95° C. for 30 minutes or more to obtain the desired patterned aluminum or alloy member and its display.

The patterned aluminum or its alloy member and its display object according to the present invention are obtained by temporarily sealing the surface of the anodic oxide film of the aluminum or its alloy, forming a resist film, etching, and then applying a second anodic oxide film. After forming, resist removal film and pore sealing treatment are performed.
The pattern image quality is prevented from ink bleeding, and the result is a patterned member with a clear color tone that does not disturb the set pattern. By arbitrarily selecting the anodizing conditions, the type of electrolytic coloring, etc., various color tones can be created. It is possible to obtain a member having a pattern that is clear, has excellent weather resistance, and does not change color or fade.

[0010] As an example of the application of the present invention, aluminum materials to which a pattern is attached include cylinders such as aluminum or aluminum alloy billet materials, cast materials, extruded materials, plate materials, etc.
A plate such as a nameplate or a block-shaped display body 1 having a prismatic or other shape is used. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the front surface of a block-shaped display body 1 made of extruded billet aluminum alloy material is cut to form a flat display surface 2. In the example shown in FIG. This is subjected to the surface treatment of Examples 1 and 2 described above, for example, a silver-white pattern 3 of a different tone on a brown or black colored background, a different colored pattern 3 on a silver-white background, or a black or black colored background. Attach another golden brightly colored pattern 3 and its opposite pattern 3. This pattern 3 can be formed into a convex or concave shape with respect to the display surface 2 by the etching process using the resist film formation. The display body 1 having such a pattern has legs 4
can be used to fix it in the desired location. Alternatively, it can be obtained by forming the above pattern on the display body of FIG. 1 using an extrusion molding material, and then attaching the edge cover to the edge of the display body.
