印で示すようベルト面方向にエアーを噴出させ、移送ベ
ルト面から2つ折りシート11を離すよう機能させてい
る。このようにして、移送ベルト18・・間の間隙に配
置されたこれらの吸引孔20,21により、移送される
2つ折りシート11はこれらの位置で走行されるベルト
面に吸着される。これにより、フォルディングドラム2
,2で2つ折りされたシートをベルトコンベア15の移
送始端部位置へと連続して送り込む際には、前記送り込
み案内装置12の働きと送り込まれた2つ折りシート1
1をベルトコンベア15の所定の移送始端部位置に吸着
しえる吸引装置との働きにより、2つ折りシート11は
ベルトコンベア15の所定の移送始端部位置へと正確に
送り込まれる。また、2つ折りシート11をベルトコン

次位のジグザグフォルディングドラムへと連続して送り
込む際には、2つ折りシート11が互いに所定のずれを
もって重ね合わされ始めるベルトコンベアの対設された

吸着しえる吸引装置を設けてあるため、この吸引装置の
働きにより、2つ折りシートは所定のずれをもって正確
に重ね合わされ、ジグザグフォルディングドラムへとへ
と正確に送り込まれる。尚、図1の符号22,22は前
記吸引ローラー19と終端ローラー(吸引ローラー)1
7の間に配設された吸引ボックスであり、この吸引ボッ
クス22の吸引孔も複数の移送ベルト18・・の間隙に

た第1折目を中心として移送方向と直交する所定寸法に
切断する受け刃を設けた左右対をなすフォルディングド
ラムと、これらのフォルディングドラムで2つ折りされ
所定寸法に切断された2つ折りシートを各咥えドラムの
咥え部に咥えられた状態から離脱させこの咥えドラムの
直下に配設されたベルトコンベアの移送始端部位置へと
送り込む送り込み案内装置と、この送り込み案内装置で
各フォルディングドラムから左右方向に位置する前記移
送始端部位置へと送り込まれた2つ折りシートをこの移
送始端部位置から対設された移送終端部位置へ移送し、
この対設された移送終端部位置で左右方向より移送され
た2つ折りシートを一方の2つ折りシートの各端部を他
方の2つ折りシートの中間部に位置するように互いのシ
ート面をずらして重ね合わせできるように配設された左
右一対のベルトコンベアと、このベルトコンベアの移送
終端部位置の直下に配設され、この移送終端部位置から
前記重ね合わせ状態で連続して送り込まれた2つ折りシ
ートを一方の2つ折りシートの端部が重なり合う他方の
2つ折りシートの略中間部に内包されるよう第2折目を
介して交互にジグザグ状に折り重ねる咥え部と押込み部
とを交互に設けた一対のドラムからなるジグザグフォル
ディングドラムとから構成したことを特徴とする4つ折
りジグザグ折り重ね装置。
