層された穀桿の脱穀作業には改善の余地が残されている
ものであった。本発明は、上記脱穀作業を簡便な手段に

けるのが難しく、そのためオーガ詰まりやコンベア詰ま
り、あるいは脱穀ロスの原因となることがあったが、本
発明では回転する掻込みリールと掻上げ回転体とで穀桿
を取り入れるので、穀桿をばらけさせて万遍無く投入で
きることになり、上記詰まりやロスの原因となることが

桿を刈取り装置7に及ぶのを阻止しながらオーガ8に向
けて導くカバーガイド13を着脱可能に取付けてある。
カバーガイド13は後向き略コ字状の板材に、爪11回
転用のスリット14を多数形成して構成され、パッカー
10と刈取り装置7とを抱き込む状態で設けられている
