Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a protective material for a magnetic shield to mail, transport safely a magnetic recording medium such as an FD, a magnetic tape which is remarkably affected by influence of a magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:A protective material for a magnetic shield characterized in that a thin plate 2 made of a nonmagnetic material is adhered to at least one side of a waved sheet 3 and further sheets 4 are adhered from both sides. Excellent magnetic shield is obtained due to use of the thin plate of the nonmagnetic material. A strength sufficiently durable against mailing, transportation can be obtained due to adherence of the thin plate by using a sheet having a suitable thickness of a waved shape.
