Abstract

PURPOSE:To offer a magnetic recording/reproducing device provided with a good automatic head cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:The subject device is provided with a cleaning means 6 for a rotary head, a discriminating means 3 for clogging of the rotary head 2, and a cleaning exerting means bringing the cleaning means 6 into contact with the rotary head 2 by receiving a signal from the discriminating means 3.
