側と下流側とに別れて多孔管の内部へ流入し、特
に絞り管を通過する排気流の流速増加に伴う吸出
し効果により、下流側の排気は多孔管と絞り管の
間へ円滑に流入するので、排気流の流れが改善さ
れ、排気の吹返しが解消され、排気流の乱れによ
る気流音も低減される。
