In FIGS. 1 and 2, the rain gutter A is composed of an inorganic molded product made from cement material mixed with inorganic fibers, and its front wall 6 is connected to the bottom wall 4 and rear wall 1. It is separate from the integral body, and the front wall 6 is joined to a rising portion 43 formed at the front end of the bottom wall 4 via an adhesive. The height of the rising portion 43 is set lower than the thick portion 12 of the rear wall 1, which will be described later. Also, the rising part 4
A stepped portion 44 is provided at the upper end of the front wall 6, and the engaging portion 61 formed on the back surface of the front wall 6 is engaged with the stepped portion 44 to join the two, which increases the joining area. This not only increases the strength of the joint, but also prevents the front wall 6 from falling forward. If the front wall 6 is made separate in this way, it is convenient that the eaves gutter can be redesigned by replacing only the front wall 6, which serves as a decorative board. Furthermore, the work of hanging the rain gutter from the mounting bracket requires only the integral part of the bottom wall and the rear wall, and the weight of the inorganic rain gutter can be dispersed, making the work of hanging and joining easier. On the other hand, an engaging portion 2 projecting outward from the inorganic rain gutter A is integrally provided at the upper end of the rear wall 1. In addition, if the inorganic rain gutter A is formed with a large number of hollow parts 71 partitioned by ribs 7 as shown in the figure, weight reduction can be achieved without significantly reducing the strength. Such an inorganic rain gutter A is constructed by attaching the engaging portion 2 to an engaging piece 111 of a mounting bracket 110 that is fixed to a plate-shaped support member 100 provided perpendicularly to the eaves by appropriate means such as nailing or screwing. By fitting into the recess 21 of the inorganic rain gutter A, the rear wall 1 of the inorganic rain gutter A is suspended from the mounting bracket 110 and prevented from falling. Further, a part of the rear wall 1 is thicker than other parts, and the thick part 12 is in contact with the support member 100 at the lower part of the mounting bracket 110. It is fixed by a fixing means 3 such as a screw screw. Furthermore, the bottom wall 4 of the inorganic rain gutter A extends rearward, and a protruding strip 42 provided at the end of the extending portion 41 extends to the eave ceiling 1.
It is in contact with the lower surface of 20. Note that 5 is a washer interposed between the head 31 of the fixing means 3 and the rear wall 1.

In the above mounting structure, since the rear wall 1 is suspended by the mounting bracket 110 and a part of the weight of the inorganic rain gutter A is supported, it is necessary to support the entire weight of the rain gutter A by the fixing means 3. There is no. Therefore,
There is no need to use a very strong fixing means 3. Further, since the rear wall 1 is suspended from the mounting bracket 110 and is fixed to the support member 100 by the fixing means 3 with the thick part 12 of the rear wall 1 in contact with the support member 100, The fluttering of the rain gutter A due to wind pressure etc. is reliably prevented. moreover,
Even if a gap S is left between the support member 100 and the eaves 120 as shown in the figure, there is no risk that this gap S will be covered by the rear wall 1 and the extension 41 and rain will blow in. It disappears. Therefore, there is an advantage that the rear wall 1 can also be used as a fascia, which is normally provided to close the gap between the eaves and the ceiling of the eaves. However, it is of course also possible to use a fascia as the support member 100. In addition, since the bottom wall 4 extends rearward and the protruding strip 42 provided at the end of the extending portion 41 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the eave ceiling 120, there is a gap between the inorganic rain gutter A and the eave ceiling 120. Another advantage is that there are no gaps between the roof and the eaves, making the eaves clear and clean when viewed from below.

First, short mounting fittings 110 are fixed at appropriate positions on the support member 100 at intervals. At this time, it goes without saying that the flow gradient of rainwater to be applied to the inorganic rain gutter A should be taken into consideration. Note that the mounting bracket 110 is not limited to the above-mentioned short one, but may be a long one. Next, attach the engaging part 2 of the inorganic rain gutter A, which is an integrated body consisting of the bottom wall 4 excluding the front wall and the rear wall 1, to the mounting bracket 1.
10 to suspend the rear wall 1 from the mounting bracket 110, and the thick portion 12 of the rear wall 1 is brought into contact with the support member 100. When installing inorganic rain gutter A,
In this state, adjust the joint parts of the integrated body so that there are no steps, and then insert the fixing means 3, for example screw screws, from multiple places on the rear wall 1 into the thick part 12.
is driven into the support member 100 to fix the rear wall 1 at a predetermined location. At this time, the suspended integral object does not have the front wall 6, and the rising part 43
Since this is lower than the thick portion 12, the screw screw can be driven in easily without being obstructed by the front wall 6 or the rising portion 43. Thereafter, the front wall 6 is joined to the rising portion 43, and the inorganic rain gutter A is attached to the eaves. In addition, when constructing the joints of the above-mentioned inorganic rain gutter A, the engaging parts 2, 2 of the rear wall 1 of the left and right integral parts at the joints are connected to one mounting bracket 110.
This is advantageous because the difference in level between the joints is naturally eliminated and no adjustment is required. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to manually support the integrated object and adjust it so that there are no steps at the joints, improving work efficiency and ensuring reliable work.
Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, if a line A such as a convex strip or a groove is inserted into the inner surface of the rear wall 1 and the driving level of the fixing means 3 is indicated by this line A, then this line A can be used to indicate the driving level of the fixing means 3. As a guide, it becomes possible to easily drive the fixing means 3 into an appropriate location.
