Prior art] Conventionally, central venous catheters (hereinafter referred to as IvH catheters) have been used to administer drugs such as high-calorie infusions, and if necessary, they can be mixed with this high-calorie infusion. Medications such as nitroglycerin and intuulin are administered. Furthermore, various catheters other than the above-mentioned catheters are used for drug administration.

It is common to administer the lowest effective dose. However, with catheters made of soft synthetic resin as mentioned above, the soft synthetic resin adsorbs the drug, so there is a problem that the amount actually administered to the human body is less than the planned dose. . In particular, synthetic resins with high drug adsorption properties include soft vinyl chloride resin, polyurethane, and polyamide elastomer.

In addition, as resins with relatively low drug adsorption properties, for example, tetrafluoroethylene or high-density polyethylene may be considered as catheter molding materials. It is inappropriate to do so.

It has some drawbacks, such as being easily sticky and difficult to insert into blood vessels, making it inconvenient to use as a single unit. Also, it may be possible to cover the re-fun tube with polyurethane and make it a double tube, but this would have the disadvantage of making the tube thicker and increasing the outside diameter.

。In the catheter of the present invention, a low drug adsorption synthetic resin coating 5 is provided on the inner surface of the catheter tube 2 in order to reduce adsorption of drugs as described above. As the synthetic resin used for this coating 5, polybutadiene or fluorine-based polymer can be suitably used. In particular, non-diotactic 1,2 polybutadiene is preferred, and more preferably one containing 90% or more of 1,2 bonds, an average molecular weight of about 100,000, and a crystallinity of about 15 to 3,596. It can be formed by immersing the entire catheter tube in the solution described in L and then drying it. Does the solvent used differ depending on the synthetic resin to be coated and the coloring material of the catheter tube? When polybutadiene is used as the synthetic resin for ffl I, methylene tetrahydrofuran, carbon disulfide, cyclohexanone, etc. can be used, and tetrahydrofuran is particularly preferred.

Even if the catheter tube is made of soft synthetic resin with sufficient flexibility, drug adsorption is extremely low.
Even if a small amount of a drug is continuously administered, the set amount of the drug can be reliably administered.
