[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] The present invention relates to a container for growing semi-adult seedlings for a rice transplanter. The present invention relates to a seedling growing container formed by arranging and connecting pots vertically and horizontally.

Such seedling-growing containers include those in which adjacent pots are connected at their upper ends, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 54341/1983, and those in which adjacent pots are connected at their bottoms.

However, when adjacent pots are connected at their upper ends, there is a sufficient air space between each pot, which allows the roots to grow sufficiently only within the pot, resulting in seedlings with good rooting ability. It is possible to grow the rice, but when the rice transplanter is loaded with the container and each pot is separated using the planting claws, the crack that occurs at the top connecting part spreads from the top of the adjacent pot to the main body, causing the pot to grow. It has a drawback that it tends to lose its shape. On the other hand, when pots are connected at their bottoms, even if a tear occurs at the joint when each pot is separated, the joint is wide and connects the bottom, which is a strong point. It is rare that the soil spreads to the adjacent pot bodies, and although it has excellent strength, soil gets into the gaps between the pots when covering with soil in the seedling pre-treatment process and blocks the air space between the pots. Roots would come and go between adjacent pots using the matted soil as a medium, and the roots would spread and grow throughout the container, resulting in an insufficient amount of roots and root entanglement in each pot.

を目的としている。
The present invention was developed with attention to these circumstances, and it is possible to grow seedlings with good rooting ability in each pot, and also to make it possible to grow seedlings with good rooting ability in each pot. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a container for growing seedlings that has appropriate strength without collapsing.

その作用・効果は次の通りである。
The characteristic structure of the present invention to achieve the above object is that adjacent pots are connected at the upper and lower intermediate parts by a plate-shaped connecting part on which bed soil can be placed.
Its actions and effects are as follows.

[Function] According to the above structure, even if the soil is covered with soil, the bed soil only closes the part above the connecting part of the gap between the pots, and does not close the lower part where many roots exist, so that the pot side wall Sufficient air space is ensured to control the overhang of roots through the canopy. In addition, since the connection point between the pot and the connecting part is located in the middle of the vertical side wall, the force that causes a tear in the connecting part when planting and separating can easily become the force that tears the side wall from the middle part. The expansion of the fissure is prevented.

In this way, by simply locating the connecting part in the upper and lower middle parts of the pot, it is possible to grow pot seedlings with good rooting ability that have a sufficient amount of roots entwined in each pot and flourish well. Furthermore, it has become possible to provide a seedling growing container that has appropriate strength and does not lose its shape when separated during planting.

As shown in FIG. 3, in the planting device 1 provided in this rice transplanter, a fertilizing device 2 for each row and a fertilizing device 3 for measurement are installed in parallel. A measuring device 5 for measuring the amount of fertilizer dispensed from the hopper 4 during planting work is provided below the fertilizing device 3 for measurement, and an automatic adjustment mechanism is set based on the measured value of the measuring device 5. It is operated to change the roll opening degree of the fertilizer applicators 2 and 3, so that the amount of fertilizer delivered is controlled to be constant.

The seedling raising container 7 is obtained by press-molding pulp material, and as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is a cup-shaped pot 7a with a small hole 8 at the bottom.
... are arranged in the vertical and horizontal directions, and the adjacent hots 7a ... are connected at the upper and lower intermediate parts by a plate-shaped connecting part on which bed soil can be placed. It will be separated from section 7b.

In the method for raising seedlings in bed soil using the seedling raising container 7, first, a predetermined amount of bed soil is uniformly filled and supplied to the seedling raising container 7, and then paddy is sown on the bed soil, followed by covering with soil and watering. At this time, the bed soil that has entered the part of the gap between the pots 7a above the connecting part 7b is left as it is without being removed because it can be used for heat retention. Further, the gap below the connecting portion 7b is used as an air layer to prevent the roots from growing toward the adjacent pot 7a through the side wall of the pot.

Therefore, by using the seedling growing container 7 to which the present invention is applied, some of the roots of the seedlings penetrate through the small holes 8 and extend to the seedbed, but most of them extend through each pot 7a...
To grow seedlings in pots with soil that have a small amount of roots to be cut when taken out from a seedling nursery box 9 because they grow entwined inside the pot, and have a sufficient amount of roots entwined well in the pot and have good rooting properties. I can do it. Furthermore, since the connection points between the pots 7a... and the connecting portions 7b are relatively strong, each pot 7a... can be separated as a single unit without losing its shape when planting and separating.
