Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of some troubles such as the clogging of a head and the shortening of the life of the head by disposing a cleaning member consisting of sponge, etc., near a fixed head such as an A/C head and providing a mechanism for enabling the cleaning member to clean the surface of the fixed head at least either in loading a tape or in unloading a tape. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a magnetic recording/reproducing device having a fixed head such as an A/C head.

A fixed head such as an A/C head in a conventional magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus is arranged as shown in FIG. 4, for example.

In the same figure, the A/C head 1 is fixed to the adjustment plate 2 9, the adjustment plate 2 is fixed to the support plate 3 with the adjustment screw 4 1, and the tab 5 is the loading post 6 at the time of Q loading. Effects of the Invention As described in Section 2, the present invention solves various problems such as head clogging and shortened head life by providing a mechanism for cleaning fixed heads such as A/C heads during tape loading and unloading. The reliability of the device can be significantly improved.
