〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 上記の様に、小風量・低風速で高温吹出し方式
の場合は小風量なので小型の送風機で良く、装置
自体も小さくする事が出来るが、乾燥時間は40〜
50秒と長くかかり、高温吹出しのため乾燥が進む
につれて次第に手に熱く感じる様になり火傷をし
そうになるので思わず手を引込めてしまい十分乾
燥するまで手乾燥室に手を置いておく事が出来な
かつた。さらに風速が遅いために、単に手の表面
の水分のみが乾燥するので石けん水固形分、手あ
か等が手の表面に付着したままで、十分きれいに
なつたとは言えなかつた。

温度が適温まで上昇しないかのどちらかであつ
た。そのうえ送風機が大きいため装置自体も大き
く、重くなつてしまいさらに、クリーンルーム等
の清浄域で使用するものは内蔵される高性能フイ
ルタが大風量のため大きなサイズとなり、装置自
体も大きく、重くなつてしまう。このため手乾燥
装置を自立形にした場合は床の占有面積が大きく
なり、壁掛取付の場合は重いので壁に補強をする
等のわずらわしさがあつた。

本発明による手乾燥装置は、一般商用電源の電
力内で超高速回転の整流子ブロワ及び高性能フイ
ルタを用いて塵埃の少ない清浄な超高速気流を吹
出し、乾燥時間の短縮を計ると共に装置の小形・
軽量化による廉価及び組立・保守の簡便性、そし
て手表面のより清潔な乾燥を目的としたものであ
る。

吹出し気流にきれいな空気を得る事が出来ると共
に、これらのユニツトは容易に取外し出来るので
高性能フイルタの交換及び整流子のブロワのメン
テナンス等が簡単に行える。

本発明による手乾燥装置は、第1図の様な緩衝
ボツクス3を備えブロワボツクス5に囲まれた整
流子ブロワ2と高性能フイルタ6と手乾燥室13
及び電装室14により構成された手乾燥装置にお
いて、表面側面の吸込みグリル15より吸込ま
れ、整流子ブロワ2により吹出された気流は緩衝
ボツクス3に吹き当る。ここで、整流子のブロワ
2より吹出された気流は電装室14内の無接点リ
レー等の電装部品及び整流子モータを冷却する事
により熱エネルギーを吸収して45℃位の空気温度
となる。さらに、緩衝ボツクス3は整流子のブロ
ワの吐出口下方に四角い容器を釣支金具4により
四隅を吊着したもので、底板には吸音材16が貼
り付けられており、整流子ブロワ2より吐出され
る超高性能フイルタ6に当たると高性能フイルタ
6が破損されたり、定格の性能を発揮する事が出
来ないので吐出気流を反転させて速度を分散させ
遅くする。また、整流子ブロワ2より発生する塵
埃は緩衝ボツクス3にたたきつけられ一部を集塵
されるので高性能フイルタ6の寿命を長くする事
が出来る。そしてこれらを囲むブロワボツクス5
の内側には吸音材16が貼り付けられており騒音
を低減する。ブロワボツクス5を出た気流は気流
低抗板8によつて均一に高性能フイルタ6に流入
され、高性能フイルタ6により清浄された気流は
プレナムチヤンバ7に充満し、吹出しノズル11
により加速され手乾燥室13に吹出される。
