Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve productivity and cost down and to efficiently attain the function of a filter part by constituting the filter part by incorporating a felt layer incorporating an activated carbon and a silver activated carbon. CONSTITUTION:The water purifying filter 30 is consisting of a case part 30a and the filter part 30b and the filter part 30b is constituted of a felt layer being integrally formed by incorporating an activated carbon and a silver activated carbon. Besides, the surface of the filter part 30b is covered with a non- woven cloth 23 so as not to pass the impurity incorporated in water. The filter part 30b is housed in the case part 30a and the non-woven cloth 23 and the case part 30a are formed or melt-adhered integrally, and the filter part 30b is not required to assemble it. The activated carbon removes the impurity and reduce the remaining chlorine concentration while the silver activated carbon has an antifungal action, so the function as the filter part is not damaged.
