【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、たとえばタイプライターのようなプ
リンターに用いるインクリボンに関するものであ
り、更に詳しくは耐久性および印字性に優れたイ
ンクリボンに関する。

性の点からナイロン6,6フイラメント糸を主素

工夫等により織成した平織・綾織等が用いられて
いる。また、インク保持性の点等から特殊な断面
形状をもつフイラメント織物も提案されている
(特開昭57−117988号公報、特開昭57−117989号
公報、特開昭57−120484号公報)。通常このよう
なリボンは、インクが含浸された後スプール状に
巻き上げられて印字部の打点場所へ送られ印字さ
れる。そして、使用と共にインクが消費されて印
字不鮮明となりリボンの寿命がなくなるためにイ
ンクの保持性をよくする工夫が製品の優劣を決定
する鍵となつていた。しかしながら、近年プリン
ター内部にインク供給部品を内蔵したプリンター
が出現するに至り、インク保持性よりもむしろリ
ボン自体の機械的損耗により寿命が決定されるよ
うになつた。本考案者等は、かかるプリンターに
適したインクリボンの延命化を種々検討の結果、
本考案に到達した。すなわち、本考案は合成繊維
布帛の裏面に弗素樹脂シートが点状または線状の
接着剤によりスポツト的に裏打ちされてなること
を特徴とする。

アミドフイラメント糸、ポリエステルフイラメン
ト糸、混合フイラメント糸等を用い、経糸密度
160〜170本/インチ、緯糸密度105〜110本/イン
チ程度の織物が好ましいが、これに限定されるも
のではなく、布帛を特公昭46−27506号公報記載
の如くカレンダー加工や減量加工したものであつ
てもよい。また、インク保持性を改良するために
糸製造用ポリマーに微孔形成剤、たとえばシリ
カ、カオリン、非相溶性ポリマー等をブレンドし
て紡糸延伸した後、アルカリまたは溶解剤で処理
した改質繊維や、後加工によりインク保持性を改
良した繊維からなる布帛であつてもよい。

ましい。シート2の厚みは1〜300μm、好まし
くは10〜100μmであるが、特にこれに限定され
るものではない。厚みが薄過ぎるとリボン寿命が
短かくなり、一方厚過ぎるとリボンが硬化し、印
字の鮮明性が劣る欠点を生じる。

ポリ四弗化エチレンフイルムをポリウレタン接着
剤を用いて点接着し、ラミネートシートを得た。
この複合シートを巾13mmにスリツトし、インクを
用いることなく活字タイプで同一個所を打点する
テストを行つた。その結果、ナイロンタフタのみ
の場合2000〜2500回の間で糸切れを生じたが本考
案の複合シートは4000回以上の耐久性を示した。

のみ厚さ15μmのポリ四弗化エチレン多孔質シー
ト(気孔径1〜5μm、密度0.5g/c.c.)をラミネー
トした。また、タフタ側には13mm巾の中央にシリ
コーンで分離ラインを巾1mmで作成した。この
後、ポリ四弗化エチレンシート側に黒インクを、
ラミネートなしの側へ赤インクを塗布した。これ
を周径350mmのループにし、途中で赤、黒インク
をそれぞれ供給しつつ打点テストを行つた。この
際、黒インク側5回に対し、赤インク側1回の割
合で打点するよう指示した。その結果、黒インク
ベースで5万回打点しても破損はなく、しかも赤
インク部分へ黒インクがにじみ移行する現象は認
められなかつた。一方、裏打ちのないリボンでテ
ストしたところ、2万回の打点で破損が生じ黒イ
ンクが赤インク部へ移行した。
