Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the transmission of heat, generated from a fluorescent tube, to pulses and improve the assembling performance of a back light by disposing a metallic body of good heat conductivity in proximity to a fluorescent tube on the opposite side to the diffusion plate disposed side of the fluorescent tube, and connecting this metallic body to the grand potential of a circuit system. CONSTITUTION:A diffusion plate 6 performs its duty, as surface light source, of uniforming incident light from a fluorescent tube 1 and reflected light from a reflecting plate 5. A metallic body 8 of good heat conductivity is formed in such a way as to be disposed in proximity to the fluorescent tube 1 due to a hole formed in the reflecting plate 5 along the fluorescent tube 1. The metallic body 8 of good heat conductivity is fixed to the reflecting plate 5 and a fluorescent tube holding base 4 after being painted white and connected to the grand potential of a circuit system by soldering on the fluorescent tube holding base 4. The temperature rise of pulses can be thereby reduced, and assembling mandays can be reduced while securing the startability of the fluorescent tube 1.

1 Since the starting electrode 110 is attached to the fluorescent tube 101, the starting electrode 110 is attached when installing the fluorescent tube 101.
Care must be taken to ensure that the light is in the opposite direction to the diffuser plate 106. Furthermore, since the starting electrode 110 is attached to a curved surface, it is difficult to attach it, which increases the number of man-hours.

2. Since the reflective plate 105 is made of plastic, the heat generated from the fluorescent tubes 101 does not escape from the reflective plate 105 to the fluorescent tube holding substrate 104 side, but is transmitted to the liquid crystal panel side, resulting in an increase in the temperature of the panel. It's happening. Therefore, the present invention is intended to solve these problems. The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the temperature rise of the panel, ensure the startability of fluorescent tubes, and reduce assembly man-hours and costs. It provides a light system.

1 is a fluorescent tube, and a terminal electrode 2 is soldered to a fluorescent tube holding substrate 4. Reference numeral 5 denotes a reflector plate made of plastic and has a structure for holding the fluorescent tube holding substrate 4 and the fluorescent tubes l. Reference numeral 6 denotes a diffuser plate, which plays the role of uniformizing the light emitted from the fluorescent tube 1 and the light reflected from the reflection plate 5 as a surface light source. Reference numeral 8 denotes a metal body with good thermal conductivity, and has a structure that allows it to be placed close to the fluorescent tube l due to holes made in the reflecting plate 5 along the fluorescent tube l. In addition, the metal body 8 with good thermal conductivity is painted white, fixed to the reflector 5 and the fluorescent tube holding board 4, and connected to the circuit system brand potential on the fluorescent lamp holding board 4 by soldering. There is. According to this embodiment, the metal body 8 with good thermal conductivity is placed close to the fluorescent tube 1 and is connected to the ground potential of the fluorescent tube drive circuit, so that it plays the role of a starting electrode for the fluorescent tube 1. , even without attaching a starting electrode to the fluorescent tube 1, the fluorescent tube 1 at low temperature
The starting performance is good. Further, according to this embodiment, the heat generated from the fluorescent tube 1 is transferred by the metal body 8 with good thermal conductivity.
The role of heat transfer by heat conduction increases and the role of heat transfer to the diffuser plate 6 through the air decreases, and as a result, the extent to which the heat generated from the fluorescent tubes 1 affects the temperature rise of the panel is reduced. Further, since the fluorescent tube 1, the fluorescent tube holding substrate 4, and the metal body 8 with good thermal conductivity are arranged using the unevenness of the reflection plate 5, ease of installation is improved.
