The present invention relates to a telephone switching system with a standby response function, and more particularly, to a response connection process when a called telephone receives an incoming call in a telephone system connected via a switchboard. (Conventional technology I In a wireless telephone system that combines a PBX, a wireless base device, and a wireless telephone, the wireless telephone can be connected to any wireless base device, is used portable, and can be used within the range of radio waves from the wireless base device. It is highly convenient and can be called up at any time, and its use has been rapidly expanding in recent years. However,
While it is convenient to always call a called party no matter where he or she is, it may be inconvenient depending on the time and place. for example. There are many cases in which it is inconvenient to answer an incoming call immediately at that time, such as an incoming call during a meeting with an important person, or an incoming call while working in a place that cannot be left unattended. In such cases, the exchange will automatically control the incoming call and tell the person who received the call to wait that I will call you later, and then call the other party at your convenience. It would be very convenient if you could easily call and make calls. A similar function in the prior art is a callee hold function in a car phone. In other words, when you receive an incoming call from the other party on your car phone, if you cannot take your hands off the phone because you are driving, etc., you can operate the temporary hold button on the car phone, and the talkie device will be connected to the other party and the call will be terminated. be put on hold temporarily. Thereafter, by operating the -hour hold button again on the car phone, the hold state is canceled and the caller and the subscriber of the car phone are in a conversation state. A document describing the callee hold function in the above-mentioned car telephone is "Car Telephone" published by the Institute of Electrical Communication Engineers (pages 194 to 194, Chapter 9.4.2, Call Connection).

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention 1] However, since the above-mentioned - time hold function has the other party wait with the call on hold in response to an incoming call, it is not desirable to make the other party wait for a long time, and it is relatively quick. This is not suitable for situations where you are required to join a call and want to make a call when you want.゛An object of the present invention is to make it convenient for a called party in a telephone exchange system who receives an incoming call to notify the caller that he/she will be calling later through a simple operation, and to easily process the connection process for the later call. The objective is to realize a telephone switching system that provides highly flexible connection services. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, in the telephone switching system according to the present invention, when an incoming call is connected to the telephone of the called party (hereinafter referred to as the called telephone), the called telephone According to the instructions of
A function that reconnects an incoming call to a called telephone to a talkie device, a function that temporarily stores the phone number information of the caller who has transferred the connection, and a function that connects a call between the caller and the talkie device. After the call is terminated, the caller's phone uses the memorized caller phone number information to connect the caller's phone and the called machine to make a call based on instructions from the called phone. let Although the present invention is implemented in a general telephone exchange system, in a particularly preferred embodiment, the telephone exchange is a PBX (Private Branch Exchange), the telephone is a wireless telephone, and the wireless telephone and the PBX are connected to a wireless base station. The device is implemented in a wireless telephone system coupled via a device. In a preferred embodiment, a function is provided to switch the connection to the forwarding destination when the calling party telephone number information cannot be recognized by the exchange (PBX), and further perform waiting response processing or forwarding processing. A means is provided for making this determination based on a determination within the PBX or an instruction from the called telephone. r Effect] In a telephone switching system, if an incoming call received at a called telephone cannot be answered immediately at the discretion of the user of the telephone, standby response control is performed by operating a standby response button provided on the telephone. By sending a signal from the telephone to the exchange, the call currently being received at the called telephone is rerouted to the talkie device, a message is sent to the caller to call later on the talkie, and the calling party Prompt to disconnect the call. At this time, the caller's telephone number information is temporarily stored in memory within the called telephone or exchange, and then when the user of the called telephone operates the standby response button again, it receives a control signal. The call is sent from the telephone to the exchange, which uses the caller's phone number information to form a connection path between the telephone and the subscriber who called, and compares and establishes the call status. When performing standby response processing, if the calling party's telephone number information cannot be recognized within the exchange, if the forwarding destination is registered in advance, the connection destination between the calling party and the wireless telephone will be changed to the forwarding destination's subscription. The connection will be transferred to the subscriber, and the subscriber to whom the transfer will be made will respond on behalf of the subscriber. If the transfer destination is not registered, the original telephone subscriber continues to be called. Furthermore, the application of connection services can be expanded by making it possible to select whether to perform standby response processing or transfer processing by a decision process within the exchange or by an instruction from the telephone.

Embodiments of the telephone switching system with standby response function according to the present invention will be described below. FIG. 1 is a system configuration diagram of an embodiment of a telephone exchange system according to the present invention, particularly a wireless telephone system in which the effects of the present invention can be most expected. In the figure, PBXloo is a communication path switch 101,
The main components include a processor (exchange connection control unit) 102 and a memory (storage of various data) 103, and the telephone line switch 101 includes a general telephone line interface device 10.
A general telephone 200 is accommodated through the central office line trunk 1.
A public network circuit 500 is accommodated via the wireless circuit interface device 106 . A wireless telephone 400 is housed via a wireless base device 300, and a talkie device 107 for message transmission is also housed. When the general telephone 200 calls the wireless telephone 400, the ordinary telephone 200 goes off-hook, hears the dial tone, and then dials the telephone number assigned to the wireless telephone (called telephone) 400, and the connection is made to the ordinary telephone line. The route is formed by the interface device 104, the call path switch 101, the wireless line interface device 106, the wireless base device f300, and the wireless telephone 400, and when the subscriber of the wireless telephone 400 answers, the general telephone 200 and the wireless telephone 40 are connected.
A call is made between 0 and 0. However, when the wireless telephone 400 receives an incoming call, if the subscriber of the wireless telephone is unable to respond immediately for some reason, the wireless telephone 400 receives an incoming call.
When the standby response button provided in 00 is operated, a standby response control signal is sent to the wireless telephone 400, wireless base device 300,
PBXloo with wireless circuit interface device 106
is sent to the processor 102 of. When the processor 102 recognizes the standby response control signal, it checks the calling party's telephone number information, and then sends the calling party's telephone number information so that the corresponding telephone number information is stored in the memory on the wireless telephone 400 side. . However, if the corresponding telephone number information is not stored on the wireless telephone side but stored in the memory 103 in the PBX 100, the transmission and reception of this information is omitted. Next, the processor 102 switches the communication path that has been connecting the general telephone line interface device 104 and the wireless line interface device 106 to the connection between the general telephone line interface device @104 and the talkie device 107. The talkie device 107 sends a message such as ``I am unable to answer at the moment, so I will call you later.'' to the calling party's general telephone 200. When the caller hears this message, the caller goes on-hook and waits for the caller to call back. After the subscriber of the wireless telephone 400 has finished his business, if he wants to talk to the caller of the general telephone 200 who received the call earlier, he starts the calling operation by re-off-hooking the wireless telephone 400, and then calls from the PBXloo. After hearing the dial tone, operate the standby response button. In the wireless telephone 400, the telephone number of the telephone 200 of the other party when the standby response process was performed for the previous call is stored in the memory, so the telephone number is read from the corresponding memory and the number information is dialed. Send it to PBXloo as a signal. PBXl
In oo, when the processor 102 receives telephone number information, the telephone 200 and wireless telephone 400 of the subscriber with the corresponding number are
A connection path is established between the parties and the other party is called. If the other party answers, the call will begin. Note that the telephone number information stored in the internal memory of the radio telephone at the time of the standby response processing is erased at the time when the above connection is established. FIG. 2 shows the internal configuration of each of the radio telephone 400 and the radio base equipment 300 in the embodiment of FIG. 1. The entire transmitting and receiving operation of the wireless telephone 400 is controlled by a control section 404. Wireless telephone 400
When making a call, the synthesizer 403 is controlled to transmit a calling signal at a predetermined frequency for a control channel, while when making a phone call, a frequency for a communication channel specified by the wireless base device 300 is set. Additionally, voice calls can be sent and received. The transmitter 401 receives audio signals from the microphone 411 and the keyboard (
In addition to the dial number push button, a standby response button is provided.) While the dial number signal etc. from the dial number push button 409 is transmitted from the antenna 406 via the transmission/reception separation circuit 405, the receiving section 402 also transmits the signal from the wireless base device 300 to the antenna 406. In addition, this signal drives the speaker 408 via the transmitting/receiving separation circuit 405, and also drives the lamp section 410.
Displays when a call is in progress. Incidentally, the lamp section 410 is also provided with a lamp for displaying when there is a call for which a waiting response process has been performed by operating a waiting response button. This lamp section may use an LED (light emitting diode) lamp or the like, or may be displayed using an LCD (liquid crystal). The memory section 407 is a section that stores data necessary for controlling the radio telephone 400, and is also used to store telephone number information of a caller when a waiting response process is performed. On the other hand, the configuration of the wireless base device 300 is almost the same as the wireless telephone 4.
00 and the same. The signal from the wireless telephone is received by the receiving section 301 via the antenna 306 and the transmitting/receiving separation circuit 305, and is further sent to the line interface section 3.
07 to the wireless interface device. On the other hand, signals from the wireless interface device are sent to the line interface section 307, the transmitting section 302, and the transmitting/receiving separation circuit 305.
The signal is transmitted from the antenna 306 to the wireless telephone 400 via the antenna 306. In the control unit 304, the synthesizer 3
03 and set it to the control channel frequency,
A synthesizer 303 selects an empty channel used for receiving a signal from the wireless telephone 400 or making a call, and selects a communication channel frequency assigned to this empty channel.
It is designed to perform controls such as setting. FIGS. 3 and 4 are sequence diagrams showing the flow of connections in one embodiment of the telephone switching system with standby response function of the present invention. FIG. 3 shows the connection flow when the radio telephone (RT) 400 receives an incoming call. The vertical axis indicates the flow of time, and the horizontal arrows indicate the flow of signals. When the subscriber of the wireless telephone 400 who receives the call operates the standby response button, the processor (CPU) of the PBX
On the side, the previous connection is changed to the talkie device, and the radio telephone (RT) 400 stores the caller's telephone number information sent from the processor (CPU) 102 in its memory, and furthermore, the radio telephone (CRT) The lamp display unit 410 provided in the device 400 displays that the waiting response process is being performed. Thereafter, the connection is temporarily released by a disconnection signal from the processor (CPU) 102. FIG. 4 shows the connection flow when the subscriber of the radio telephone (RT) 400 makes a call operation to talk to the other party who received the call after waiting response. . When a subscriber at radiotelephone (RT) 400 goes off-hook, the process is similar to a normal outgoing connection, resulting in a PB
A dial tone is sent from the X side. Here, when the subscriber of the radio telephone (RT) 400 operates the standby response button 10, the caller's telephone number information stored in the memory 407 in the radio telephone at the time of the standby response process is read out. ,
The corresponding telephone number is sent to the PBXloo processor (CPU) 102 as dial signal information. The processor 102 of the PBX calls the other subscriber based on the received dial number information, and if the other subscriber answers, the call will begin. At this time, when the wireless telephone 400 recognizes that the other subscriber has responded, the memory 407
The caller telephone number information stored in the caller is erased, and at the same time, the lamp 410, which was indicating that there is a waiting response call, is extinguished. FIG. 5 shows processing in a case where the caller's telephone number cannot be recognized on the PBX 100 side when a standby response signal is received from the wireless telephone 400. In other words, C on the PBX100 side
When the PU 102 receives the standby response signal, it is determined whether or not there is calling party telephone number information. The calling party telephone number can be recognized if the connection is within the local office, but if the calling party telephone number information is present through the central office line trunk, the calling party telephone number can be recognized. (In an example such as an incoming connection, the calling party's telephone number cannot be recognized), but if the telephone number can be recognized, the waiting response process is performed as already explained. If the calling party's telephone number cannot be recognized, then it is determined whether the forwarding destination is registered or not, and if the forwarding destination is registered, the connection between the calling party and the wireless telephone is released. ,
(stops calling the wireless telephone) and transfers the call to the destination subscriber. Therefore, the caller will have a conversation with the subscriber to whom the call is transferred. Further, if the transfer destination is not registered, even when the standby response button 10 is operated from the radio telephone 400, the call continues as it is and waits for a response from the subscriber of the radio telephone 400. In the example shown in Figure 5, the condition for determining whether to perform standby response processing or transfer connection processing is based on whether or not the calling party's phone number can be recognized by the PBX was explained. Alternatively, it is also possible to send out separate control signals from radio telephone 400 for standby response processing and transfer connection processing. In this case, wireless telephone 4
00, it is necessary to operate a different button depending on the request process. Moreover, as yet another method, the wireless telephone 4
A service class that determines the service that can be received when a waiting response signal is received is assigned to each terminal of 00,
When a request is received from a wire telephone, the service class is referred to to determine whether to perform standby response processing, transfer processing, or continue calling. In addition, even when performing transfer processing, it is possible to register multiple transfer destinations, select which transfer destination to select by operating a button on the wireless telephone, and send a signal instructing the transfer destination to the PBX. It is. In the example shown in FIG. 3, an incoming call comes to the wireless telephone 400, and after the ringing bell rings, the subscriber of the wireless telephone 400 decides whether to respond or to request a waiting response process by pressing the standby response button. The operation is explained based on the condition that 10 is operated, but if you also want to stop the bell ringing,
If you operate the standby response button 10 in advance, the wireless telephone will memorize that state, and when there is an incoming call on the corresponding wireless telephone, it will immediately send a standby response signal to the PBX side without ringing the bell. It is also possible to do so. At this time,
The presence/absence of a call that has undergone standby response processing is confirmed by the display on the lamp 410 provided on the wireless telephone 400. Note that in the above explanation, the number of calls that require standby response processing is omitted in the explanation, but it is not necessary to limit the number of calls to one call for each wireless telephone, and it is possible to process multiple calls at the same time. Of course it is possible. In the above description, the terminal telephone is a wireless telephone, but the same functions can be achieved using a wired telephone instead of the wireless telephone. Further, although the exchange is explained using a PBX as an example, similar functions can be realized by using a general exchange (for central office use, etc.) instead of a PBX.

As explained above, according to the present invention, when there is an incoming call on the telephone, if it cannot be answered immediately, it can be answered immediately to the other subscriber by an extremely simple operation such as pressing the standby response button on the wireless telephone. This enables a new connection service in which you can tell someone that you are unable to do so, and then call the other party whenever you wish.
