デイーゼルエンジンに燃料を供給する経路の流量
計とエンジンとの間に介設され、エンジンに供給
される燃料及びエンジンに供給されたが消費され
なかつた燃料を一時貯め、流量計両側の液圧バラ
ンスを維持する燃料リターンチヤンバーにおいて
、燃料の貯められるチヤンバー本体に、流量計を
経た燃料が通る燃料入口管、エンジンに燃料を供
給する燃料出口管、エンジンで消費されなかつた
燃料が通る燃料戻り管、及び燃料タンクの液面の
上方に連通した空気抜き管が連結されており、チ
ヤンバー本体内には上部から所定の長さのパイプ
が延びており、空気抜き管はパイプの上端に連通
しており、空気抜き管には燃料タンクの液面より
下位にチヤンバー本体側への燃料の通過を阻止す
る逆止弁が介設されており、チヤンバー本体内の
パイプ周辺の空間は空気溜りとなつていることを
