[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention has a guide portion that guides and holds a tape cassette, particularly a reel stopper for locking the rotation of a tape reel, and the guide portion determines the amount of remaining tape. This invention relates to a tape cassette which is made up of a combination of upper and lower shells arranged so as to protrude inside a confirmation window.

Conventionally, for example, video cassettes are known that are equipped with a reel stopper that engages and disengages from the reel flange in order to stop the rotation of the tape reel when it is not loaded. In order to make it easier to check the remaining amount of tape in such a tape cassette, a fourth
As shown in the figure, the window portion 2b is enlarged and the window portion 2b is
If the tape cassette is designed such that it hangs over the guide parts 2a and 3a of the reel stopper 4, the guide part 2a is integrated with the upper shell 2 in the case of a tape cassette made by combining the upper shell 2 and the lower shell 3, but in that case, the window In order to assemble the transparent window plate 1 to the portion 2b, the window plate 1 had to be inserted from the outside of the upper shell 2 because the guide portion 2a protruded into the window portion 2b. Therefore, it is not possible to use a method that would damage the appearance of the tape cassette, such as welding and fixing it with a welding machine, and by making the window portion 2b and the window plate 1 have the cross-sectional shape shown in FIG. Fixation was achieved by forcibly fitting the provided engaging claw 1a into the recessed portion 2c provided in the window portion 2b. However, in such a structure, the width and length of the engaging portion cannot be made very large, so that sufficient holding force cannot be obtained, and as a result, there is a problem that the window plate 1 is likely to come off due to impact or the like. Further, there was a problem in that the engaging claw 1a of the window plate 1 and the inner edge of the window portion 2b were easily damaged during forced fitting. Another problem is that it is very difficult to automate assembly using the forcible press-fitting method as described above.

In addition, for reel stopper 4, lower shell 3
Since the operating lever on the deck side is inserted and operated from below, the guide part 2a needs to have a structure that also has the function of pressing the reel stopper 4 from above. -92478 Publication or Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-95469, the guide part was constructed separately from the shell, which required a fitting mounting structure to the lower shell, resulting in a complicated configuration. There was a problem that I couldn't get it.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has been developed to ensure that the window panel does not come off even when subjected to vibrations and shocks, and is securely fixed. There is also no risk of damaging the inner edge of the window during assembly, and it has an excellent aesthetic appearance. An object of the present invention is to provide a tape cassette whose assembly can be easily automated.

In the tape cassette according to the present invention, at least a part of the guide part of the reel stopper is integrally formed with the window plate, and the window plate is assembled and fixed to the upper shell, so that part of the guide part is connected to the guide part. It matches and aligns with other parts of the guide part to form the entire shape of the guide part.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a window plate, and a guide portion 5a (corresponding to the guide portion 2a of the conventional example described above), which can be referred to as the guide portion 3a on the lower shell 3 side, is provided at a predetermined position on the back side of the window plate, as shown in FIG. It is integrally formed, and furthermore, a step portion, that is, a welding margin 5b is provided on the upper side of the outer peripheral edge.
Alternatively, a welding margin 2b, which may be referred to as a welding margin 5b, is provided below the inner peripheral edge of the window portion 2b of the upper shell 2 (see FIG. 3).

Since the tape cassette according to the present invention is constructed as described above, the attachment or welding of the window plate 5 to the window portion 2b can be performed by attaching or welding the window plate 5 to the window portion 2b as shown by the arrow A in FIG.
It can be done from inside. Therefore, the appearance of the tape cassette is not impaired and the appearance is excellent.
In addition, instead of using the conventional forced fitting method, a welding method is used, so the window plate 5 remains intact even when subjected to vibrations or shocks.
There is no possibility that the window part 2b will come off and the fixation is reliable, and there is no risk of damaging the inner edge of the window part 2b during assembly, and the assembly can be easily automated.
