[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Object of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention provides a tremolo system for stringed instruments, which is characterized in that each string can express its own tremolo effect for a plurality of strings during tremolo performance. This article relates to individual adjustment devices for each unit.

(Prior art) In the tremolo units of conventional stringed instruments, mainly electric guitars, the bridge is integrated with the tremolo arm, so the entire string string moves when the tremolo arm is operated, and the pitch of each string changes during performance. It is not possible to arbitrarily change and play. Furthermore, to the best of the applicant's knowledge, no performance form based on such an idea has been seen. In other words, in terms of structure and effect, the applicant knows how to accurately fix the strings so that they do not loosen, how to easily adjust them, and how to change the pitch steplessly. To the best of the applicant's knowledge, there is no separate adjustment device for a tremolo unit in a stringed instrument that can express a tremolo effect independently for each string.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention creates a tremolo effect for each string by independently isolating the tailpiece and moving a plurality of adjustment pieces screwed onto male threaded shafts corresponding to the strings of the vertical adjustment frame. By setting the width of the sound, the chord is changed only at the pitch of the target string, and the effect is expressed. This means that a tremolo effect tailored to the sensibilities of the performer can be expressed for each string, and a unique performance style based on new ideas can be expected.

(Example) The present invention will be explained below based on the example of the drawings.
1 is a body, 2 is a tremolo unit installed on the surface of the body 1, and a bridge board 3 located in the front in the storage position,
A tail piece 4 having a protruding piece 4a at its rear portion corresponding to each string and having a floating groove 4b formed therein is rotatably supported via a pivot shaft 5.

An adjustment frame is formed by vertically mounting an adjustment screw shaft 6a for each string in the independent rear part of the tailpiece 4, and screwing together two adjustment screw pieces 6b above and below the adjustment screw shaft 6a. unit 6,
The adjusting screw shaft 6a is fitted into the floating groove 4b of the protruding piece 4a of the tail piece 4, and the two upper and lower adjusting screw pieces 6b are arranged separately on the upper and lower sides with the protruding piece 4a as a boundary. It is rotatably supported via a pivot 5.

That is, as a result, the vertical movement width of the tail piece 4 can be arbitrarily set by adjusting the movement of the vertical adjusting screw piece 6b sandwiching the protruding piece 4a to a predetermined position, and by vertically operating the tremolo arm 7, the pivot This is a mechanism that generates different tremolo effects in accordance with the adjustment allowable range of movement (from zero width to full free width) of the protruding pieces 4a for each string that rotate in conjunction with each other with reference to 5 as the base point.

(Function) First, before playing, screw the upper and lower adjusting screw pieces 6b to the part of the string where you want to change the pitch in advance, and set the upper and lower limits of the tremolo effect according to the player's imagination (Fig. 5). . For example, if you want to create a tremolo effect only on the first and second strings of your guitar,
The first
This is possible by tightening and fixing the adjusting screw 6b of the string and the second string to the protruding piece 4a, and leaving it in a free state so that the adjusting screw 6b does not engage with the operation of the tremolo arm 7 for other strings. As a result, the pitch does not change.

Taking the Am chord as an example, to explain it more specifically, first, use your left hand to play the 5th fret of the 6th string, the 7th fret of the 5th string, the 7th fret of the 4th string, the 5th fret of the 2nd string, and the 8th fret of the 1st string. Hold the frets. Next, play the triads on the 6th, 5th, and 4th strings (A, E, A) with the pick held between the middle finger and thumb of your right hand.
Next, play the harmonics of the second and first strings (E, C) one note at a time using the pick held with the index finger, middle finger, and thumb of the right hand. Then, when you hold the tremolo arm 7 with your right hand and move it up and down, vibrato is applied only to the scale of the second and first strings. At this time, there is no change in the pitch of the sixth, fifth, and fourth strings.

As described above, according to the present invention, each tail piece is isolated in response to the operation of the tremolo arm to generate a tremolo effect, and the chord can be changed only at the pitch of the target string depending on the engagement state of the adjustment screw piece. Unique playing techniques that were impossible with conventional guitar playing became possible.
