Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the drag when a cleaner main body starts to be moved and smoothly operate a floor nozzle by providing a hose direction detecting means, driving motors connected to running rollers, and a driving motor control means controlling the rotating direction of the driving motors in response to the hose direction. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch 11 is turned on while the direction of a hose 7 is located at the position A of a hose direction detecting means 9, i.e., faced to the front direction of a cleaner main body 1, driving motors 12, 13 are rotated in the positive direction respectively, and the cleaner main body 1 is moved forward. When the operation switch 11 is turned on while the hose direction is located at the position B, i.e., faced to the right front direction of the cleaner main body 1, only the driving motor 13 is rotated in the positive direction, and the cleaner main body 1 is moved in the right front direction. When the operation switch 11 is turned on while the hose direction is located at the position C, i.e., faced to the left front direction of the cleaner main body 1, only the driving motor 12 is rotated in the positive direction, and the cleaner main body is moved in the left front direction.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In such a conventional vacuum cleaner, the vacuum cleaner main body 1 is moved while being pulled while cleaning, but when the vacuum cleaner main body 1 starts moving, the greatest resistance is applied to the hand due to inertia. However, since it interferes with the smooth operation of the floor nozzle 4, it is easily tiring and feels very troublesome. In particular, on a carpet, the rolling friction resistance of the traveling rollers 2 and caster rollers 3 increases, so the resistance at the start of movement is 1 to 1.
Not only does this increase in i and skg, but the resistance during running also increases considerably, resulting in a problem of poor usability.
