Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve insulation properties by eliminating exposure of a metallic piece, by a method wherein at the time of casting of resin, an intermediate mold is pressed by pressure of the cast resin so that the intermediate mold is separated from the metallic piece. CONSTITUTION:A spring 10 for positioning of a metallic piece 5 abutting a protrusion 11 formed on an intermediate mold 9 against the metallic piece 5 is provided and a resin passage 15 which enters synthetic resin cast at the time of casting of the resin into a cylinder part 12 is provided. Force is applied to a piston part 14 by pressure of the synthetic resin in the direction separating the protrusion 11 of the intermediate mold 9 from the metallic piece 5. With this construction, the intermediate mold 9 is moved against elastic pressure, the protrusion 11 is separated from the metallic piece 5 and the synthetic resin enters a gap generated between the protrusion 11 and metallic piece 5.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to an injection molding method and injection mold for producing synthetic resin members by injection molding. An example of a method for integrally embedding a metal piece into a synthetic resin member will be described below. In FIG. 3, an injection mold 21 is composed of an upper mold 22 and a lower mold 23. 24 is a synthetic resin filled in the internal space formed by the upper mold 22 and the lower mold 23, and is a synthetic resin product. 25 is a metal piece embedded in the synthetic resin product 24. Reference numeral 26 denotes a protrusion protruding from the upper die 22 for pushing the metal piece 25 and positioning the metal piece 25 at a predetermined position within the synthetic resin product 24.

In the injection molding process, first, the metal piece 25 is temporarily held in the lower mold 23. Next, when the upper mold 22 and the lower mold 23 are fitted together, the protrusion 26 presses a part of the metal piece 25, and the metal piece 25 is positioned at a predetermined position within the mold. Next, synthetic resin is injected from the supply port 28 through the spool runner 27 and filled into the shape of the synthetic resin product 24.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with the above-described structure, the following problems arise: The projections 26 leave holes in the molded synthetic resin product 24, and these holes cause the metal pieces 25 to Therefore, the parts manufactured in this way cannot ensure insulation between the metal piece 25 and the outside, and cannot be used in places where insulation is important. Means for Solving the Problems The present invention aims to solve the above problems. An intermediate mold is movably held in one of a pair of molds, a columnar part is formed in the intermediate mold, and a columnar part is formed in the intermediate mold. A cylinder part that fits into the columnar part is formed on the mold that holds the L, so that the columnar part becomes a piston.L To position the metal piece by bringing the protrusion formed on the intermediate mold into contact with the metal piece. A spring is provided, and a resin passage is provided through which the synthetic resin injected during resin injection enters the cylinder part, and the pressure of the synthetic resin causes the protrusion of the piston part to move away from the metal piece. By doing this, the synthetic resin injected at the time of resin injection enters the cylinder part and moves the intermediate mold against the pressure and the elastic force of the spring, and the protrusion part is formed by a metal piece. When the resin separates from the metal piece, the synthetic resin will enter the gap created between the protrusion and the metal piece.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention (as shown in FIG. A cylinder part is formed and the columnar part acts as a piston, and a spring is provided to press the protrusion or metal piece, and the synthetic resin injected during resin injection enters the cylinder part. By providing a resin passage,
The synthetic resin injected during resin injection enters the cylinder and its pressure moves the intermediate mold against the elastic force of the spring, causing the protrusion to separate from the metal piece and form between the protrusion and the metal piece. This allows the synthetic resin to enter the gaps created by the molded synthetic resin product, eliminating holes left by the protrusions in the molded synthetic resin product, eliminating exposure of metal pieces, and improving insulation.
