Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the workability by adopting the structure of the foldable antenna such that the antenna having stood upright is automatically folded and contained when an opposite connector is fitted to a high frequency input/ output connector of the portable telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When the foldable antenna 2 integrated with a main body 1 of the portable telephone set is in use, the antenna 2 is locked by a stopper 5 and not moved regardless that the antenna 2 is going to be folded by a rotating body 8. In the case of radiation of a radio wave other than the use of the antenna 2, the antenna 2 is automatically folded by connecting a high frequency connector 3 from which a high frequency output is emitted to an opposite connector 9.
