Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend the battery driving time of a personal computer to reduce the size and weight of the computer by driving the computer with a built-in and expansion batteries when the computer is driven with batteries. CONSTITUTION:When a personal computer is driven with batteries, a voltage from a built-in battery 5 is supplied to a mother board 2 and expansion substrate 3 connected to an expansion slot 4 through a power supply line 7 after the voltage is smoothed and stabilized by means of a built-in power source circuit 6.
