Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate extension and replacement of cable by inserting a plurality of pipes accomodating cables into a conduit in a building and then filling the gaps between the cable and the pipe and between the pipe and the conduit with water stop material. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of cables 1 are inserted into a plurality of hard vinyl or steel pipes 6 and dams 8 are formed of soft sponge on the opposite ends. A space defined by the cable 1, the pipe 6 and the dam 8 is then filled with a water stop material 7 composed of two-component type foamable polyurethane polymer. Dams 4 are also provided between the inner peripheral surface of the conduit 3 in a building and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 6 and same water stop material 5 is filled similarly in the space. When the cable is extended, a hole A is made through the water stop material 5 as shown on the drawing, the cable and the pipe are inserted therein and the water stop material is injected. According to the constitution, the cable can be extended or replaced easily without damaging existing cables.

are collected in one place. In order to prevent water from entering into the pipes, measures as shown in FIG. 7 are taken. That is, for the purpose of blocking the vicinity of the conduit port 2 of the conduit 3, a dam 4 is formed using a sponge or the like inside the conduit 3 near the conduit port 2 and at the conduit port 2. Then, as shown in FIG. 8, the sealed space between the two dams 4 is filled with a water stop material forming material such as a two-component foamed urethane polymer and hardened to form a water stop material 5, and the pipe opening 2 is closed. Occlusion is being done. By the way, when the water in the conduit 3 has been shut off in this way, when the number of new telephone subscribers etc. increases and it becomes necessary to increase the number of cables 1, the water stop material 5 in the conduit 3 is A suitable hole is made with a punch or the like, a saw is passed through the hole to make the hole larger in diameter, and a cable is passed through the hole. Furthermore, the cable 1 is replaced by drilling a ring-shaped hole around the cable l in the same manner as described above, pulling out the cable l, and inserting a new cable.

On the other hand, a pipe is previously fitted around the outer periphery of the newly added cable in the same manner as described above. and,
The cable with this pipe fitted onto the outside is inserted into the hole A. Next, dams are formed using soft sponge at two locations in the gap between the newly inserted pipe and the water stop material. Then, the closed space between these two dams is filled with the same water stop material as described above and cured to fill the gap, thereby adding cables.

As described above, the pipe water stop structure for building overhead wires of the present invention has the following features:
A wire rod such as a cable is inserted into a hard cylindrical body, this is inserted into a conduit, and in this state, the inside of the conduit is filled and closed with a stopper. Therefore, when adding or replacing wire rods, the wire rods are protected by the hard cylindrical body and are not damaged when drilling holes in the water stop material. Furthermore, when replacing the wire rod, it is only necessary to pull out the entire hard cylindrical body and replace it, making it possible to disassemble the water-stopping material and replace the wire rod easily and in a short time.
