で挟持する構成となっている。スライダ12の上面には
、コアスライダ組立体18と媒体24(第4図参照)と
が接触するとき、それらの間に空気が入り込んで磁気コ
ア11が媒体24から離れることによって磁気特性が低
下するのを防止するため、空気溝16を設けである。こ
の空気溝16の幅は一定であり、媒体流入端20側の幅

りすることによって空気の圧力を小さくしてコアスライ
ダ組立体18と媒体24との間隔を小さくすると、第4
図(b)に示すように、組立て状態のばらつきによって
コアスライダ組立体18が傾き、媒体流入端20(媒体
の運動方向は矢印A方向である)が媒体24と接触し、
この状態で媒体24が僅かな角度だけ回転した後媒体流
入端20が媒体24から離れる。この動作を繰返えして
