Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a panel excellent in weather and fouling resistance, surface hardness and designability by coating the surface of a cement substrate through a layer coated with a water glass-based inorganic coating with a specific polysiloxane-based inorganic coating. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic-coated panel is obtained by coating the surface of a cement substrate with a water glass-based inorganic coating. The surface thereof is further coated with a polysiloxane-based inorganic coating, produced by hydrolysis and polycondensation of a silicon alkoxide and having 1000-20000 weight-average molecular weight at >=80wt.% weight ratio of SiO2 in the polymer. The coated film formed from the aforementioned polysiloxane-based inorganic coating itself is improved in weather resistance, surface hardness, film- forming properties and glossiness and adhesion to the coated film with the water glass-based inorganic coating is excellent. Thereby, defects such as pinholes in the ground are filled and smoothness is improved to improve glossiness and fouling resistance.

Cement panels, which are used as interior and exterior materials in the architectural field, are generally coated with organic or inorganic paint. Are inorganic paints limited by the need for high temperatures to cure the paint film? They have better weather resistance than organic paints, and even when exposed outdoors for a long time, they do not cause deterioration of the paint film, chalking, fading, or loss of gloss. It has excellent features such as no occurrence of phenomena such as peeling, and a hard surface that is not easily scratched.
No. 789, etc. In the market, panels made of asbestos slate coated with water glass paint are used.

However, these water glass-based paints have poor film-forming properties, poor film smoothness, and defects such as pinholes are observed in the film. As a result, dirt easily adheres to the paint film, and it is difficult to remove the adhering dirt by washing, resulting in poor stain resistance, low gloss, and poor appearance and design. Improvements to these problems are strongly desired. was.

The cement base material as used in the present invention refers to hardened cement, and cement is an inorganic material that hardens by reaction with water. The water glass-based inorganic paint used in the present invention is an alkali metal silicate consisting of silicic acid and an alkali metal belonging to Group 1A of the Periodic Table, such as sodium silicate, potassium silicate, and lithium silicate, so-called water glass. , to which a curing agent, filler, reinforcing material, pigment, etc. are added as necessary. Furthermore, the polysiloxane-based inorganic paint referred to in the present invention has the general formula Rn 5l (
OR) 4-1 [R represents a hydrocarbon group and n represents a positive number from 0 to 2] So-called silicon alkoxide is used as a starting material, and a polysiloxane produced by hydrolysis and polycondensation of this is used as a vehicle. Refers to what was used. The molecular weight of polysiloxane is 100 as the weight average molecular weight in terms of styrene measured by gel permeation chromatography.
A range of 0 to 20,000 is preferred. If it is less than 1,000, the adhesion to the coating layer of the water glass-based inorganic paint is poor, and phenomena such as cracking and peeling occur due to long-term outdoor exposure. If it exceeds 20,000, the viscosity increases and it becomes difficult to handle. Also, the weight ratio of SiO□ in the polymer is 8
It is preferably 0% or more. If it is less than 80%, the number of hydrocarbon groups in the coating film will be relatively large, and it will be easily deteriorated by ultraviolet rays, and the gloss will decrease with long-term outdoor use, and chalking will occur. Further, the hardness of the coating film is also lowered, which is not preferable.

Further, it is not preferable to directly coat a cement base material with a polysiloxane-based inorganic paint because the polysiloxane-based inorganic paint has poor alkali resistance, which may cause deterioration of the coating film over a long period of time.

Additionally, a method has been proposed in which organic substances such as epoxy resins and acrylic resins are coated on the surface of the cement base material, and then this polysiloxane-based inorganic paint is coated on top. In order to prevent elution, is it possible to prevent long-term deterioration of polysiloxane-based inorganic paints due to alkaline attack? This is not desirable because of the low hardness of the underlying organic material and the fact that organic materials are flammable.

Example 1 100 parts by weight of ordinary Portland cement, 6 parts by weight of silica powder
0 parts by weight, 2 parts by weight of carbon fiber, 1 part by weight of methylcellulose, and 67 parts by weight of water were sufficiently kneaded and molded by a press. This was cured in the atmosphere for one day, and then further cured in an autoclave at 180° CIO atmospheric pressure to obtain a cement base material. After the surface of this cement base material was wet polished, it was dried in a dryer until it was almost completely dry. To this, a commercially available water glass-based inorganic paint [manufactured by Kansai Paint ■, trade name Vital] was applied in an amount of 240 by air spray.
It was applied so that the ratio was g/po. Further, tetraethoxysilane and methyltriethoxysilane were used as silicon erkoxide on this surface and were hydrolyzed and dehydrated to achieve a weight average molecular weight of 4500 and 5i02 in the polymer.
A transparent polysiloxane-based inorganic paint obtained by adjusting the weight ratio to 95% was applied at 50 g/rd by air spray. After setting for about 5 minutes, put it in the heating oven 2
A sample was baked at 70°C for 10 minutes. Then, the physical properties of the coating film were measured by the method shown below.
