Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability in joint by improving fitting strength of a fitting part of a faucet short pipe to an original pipe and causing to possess plasticity and watertightness together, by a method wherein the tip of the faucet short pipe is pressure-contacted directly to the fringe part of a fitting port provided in the original pipe through a rubber ring. CONSTITUTION:A fitting port 11A is bored into an original pipe 11 and a rib 11C around the fitting port 11A of the original pipe 11 is removed. The fringe part of the fitting part 11A is clothed with a rubber ring 13. A processing mold 15 is inserted into the original pipe 11. The tip of a faucet short pipe 12 is softened by heating, pressed into the rubber ring 13 by a press machine and the tip of the faucet short pipe 12 is pressure-contacted with the fringe part of the fitting port 11A by a processing mold 15 so that the rubber ring 13 is wrapped in the processing mold 15. With this construction, the tip of the faucet short pipe 12 is pressure-contacted directly with the fringe part of the fitting part 11A provided in the original pipe 11 and fitting strength can be improved. Claims (2)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] (1)原管に分岐管接続用の受口短管を取着する分岐管
継手の加工方法において、該原管に取着口を穿孔し、該
取着口の周縁部にゴム輪を被着すると共に、該原管内に
短管先端加工型を挿入し、短管先端を加熱軟化させて上
記ゴム輪内に圧入し、且つ該短管先端を上記短管先端加
工型にて上記ゴム輪を包み込む如くに該取着口の周縁部
に圧着することを特徴とする分岐管継手の加工方法。
