Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent infiltration of water and salt water so as to increase corrosion resistance by interposing an O ring in a cavity part generated between a case of a retightening part and a solenoid, in the case of a device in which the solenoid is stored in the case with one end opened to mechanically fixedly retighten an opening part of this case. CONSTITUTION:An idle speed control device comprises an electromagnetic mechanism part 1 and a flow control mechanism part 11, and in the electromagnetic mechanism part 1, a coil 3 is stored in a cylindrical case 2 with one end opened to arrange a core 4 and a plunger 5 in a center part of this coil 3. A sheathing molding 10, in which the coil 3, terminals 6, 7 and yokes 8, 9 are integrally molded by a plastic material, is fixed by retightening an opening part of the case 2. In the flow control mechanism part 11, metering valves 17, 18 are brought into contact with and separated from metering part seats 15, 16 formed in air passages 13, 14. Here, an O ring 22 is inserted into a cavity part 21 generated in an opening part retightening part of the case 2, so that corrosion resistance is improved by preventing infiltration of water.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to an idle rotation control device that automatically controls the idle rotation speed of an automobile to a set rotation speed with respect to water temperature or outside air temperature, and is particularly applicable to an automobile engine. This is suitable as an actuator for electronic control.

As mentioned above, in the above conventional technology, there is no water intrusion prevention means inside the coil, so the connector and yoke inside the coil will rust due to the intrusion of water or salt water, and the rust will propagate through the inside of the mold, causing a short circuit. There was a problem.

In the above configuration, when a desired electrical input is applied to the coil 3 via the terminal 6.7, an electromagnetic force corresponding to the input is generated, and the plunger 5 is moved in the right direction in the figure.
Then, the valves 17 and 18 in contact with the plunger 5 move to the right against the force of the spring 19, and the valve 1 moves to the right at a position where the electromagnetic force and the force of the spring 19 are balanced.
7°18 stops. The amount of air flowing therethrough is controlled by the opening areas of the valves 17, 18 and the seats 15, 16 at that time.

In an idle rotation control device that controls the idling rotation speed of an automobile engine using this amount of air, as shown in Fig. 2,
Generally, when the opening of the case 2 is tightened, a gap 21 is likely to be formed as shown in FIG. 2, and water or salt water may infiltrate through the gap 21. If salt water enters from here, rust will occur on the yokes 8 and 9, and the rust will be removed from the exterior mold 10.
The yoke 8, 9 and the terminal 6.7 are connected by rust, which may cause a serious accident such as a short circuit. Especially due to the melting of snow on the roads, as seen in many parts of Europe.
