Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent thinning or missing of pattern by employing a squeegee comprising an elastic body and a supporting body therefor, relatively moving the squeegee and a plate while pressure contacting with each other thereby spreading ink on the plate. CONSTITUTION:PET1b of a squeegee 1 supports a silicon rubber 1a. A squeegee 1 is lowered at the outside of ink 5 fed to the end of an intaglio plate 4 while inclining by 30-60 deg. thereto and brought into pressure contact therewith. The squeegee 1 is then moved to the right to spread the ink 5 over the non-groove part of the plate 4 so as to fill the groove in the plate 4 with the ink 5. The squeegee 1 is then lifted and a doctor blade 3 is lowered and brought into contact with the outside of a part, not applied with ink, of the plate 4. The doctor blade 3 is moved to the right and the ink 5 is filled in the groove of the plate 4 while scraped off from the non-groove part. Subsequently, a blanket 6 is lowered onto the plate 4 and moved to the right thus transferring an ink pattern from the plate 4. The blanket 6 is then moved to an object 7 to be printed thus printing the ink pattern on the blanket 6 onto the object 7.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] Industrial Fields of Application The present invention relates to a method for spreading ink on a plate and a printing machine, and is a prior art.A method for spreading ink on a plate and a printing machine are 6
The method and printing machine shown in Japanese Patent No. 2-121056 are commonly used. The method and printing machine will be explained below based on FIG. 3. In FIG. Even if the squeegee 2 is lowered to the outside of the intaglio plate 4, the squeegee 2 stops with a certain gap from the intaglio plate 4 in order to spread enough ink to fill the grooves of the intaglio plate 4. In the step (b), the squeegee 2 is moved to the right in the drawing to spread the ink 5 all over the grooves and non-grooves of the intaglio 4, and then the squeegee 2 is raised as shown in Figure 3 (c). Then, the lowered doctor blade 3 is brought into contact with the ink-free area on the intaglio plate 4. Then, fill the ink 5 into the grooves of the intaglio plate 4 while moving it to the right in the drawing, completely scraping off the ink 5 in the non-grooved areas. 4 and move it toward the right in the drawing to transfer the ink pattern on the intaglio plate 4. Then, as shown in FIG. A pattern is printed on a printing medium 7.

The problem to be solved by the invention is that the conventional ink spreading method and printing machine cannot adequately fill the grooves of the intaglio plate. The reason is that the ink is spread with a squeegee. When the squeegee and intaglio plate are fitted with a certain gap, there is hardly any pressure applied to the ink filled into the grooves of the intaglio plate, and sufficient pressure is not applied when filling the ink with the doctor blade. This is because there is no

In the present invention, since the squeegee is made of an elastic body as described above, it is possible to spread the ink while maintaining the pressurized contact between the squeegee and the intaglio. Since the ink is filled under the action of sufficient pressure, it is possible to reduce scratches, chips, etc. in the formed pattern after printing and improve the quality of the printed pattern.

In FIG. 1(A), a squeegee 1 is lowered at an angle of 30 to 60 degrees to the outside of the ink 5 supplied to the edge of the intaglio 4, and pressure is applied onto the intaglio 4. Even if it makes contact, the rubber thickness of squeegee 1 is 2 mm, and the rubber hardness? ; Measured with a hardness tester according to LJIS 6301
Next, in Fig. 1 (b) using a squeegee with a PET thickness of 65 degrees and a PET thickness of +1 0°2 mm, the squeegee 1 was brought into pressure contact with the intaglio plate 4 at a feed rate of 40 mm/sec and a pressing force of +6 kg.
The ink 5 is filled into the grooves of the intaglio 4 while being moved to the right in the drawing at f/eV to spread the ink 5 over the entire surface of the non-grooved portion of the intaglio 4 while letting some of the ink 5 escape.

In this embodiment, since the ink is spread while being pressed into contact with the intaglio plate, the ink is filled into the grooves of the intaglio plate at the same time as the ink is spread, thereby eliminating chips, chips, etc. in the formed pattern after printing. The above-mentioned squeegee is not limited to the above embodiment, and the squeegee rubber thickness: 0.5 mm to 3 mm, the rubber hardness ( JIS hardness)゛ 4D degree ~ 90 degree, P
ET thickness: 0. 1mm ~0. Using a 3mm squeegee, press crab 4kgf/eV ~ 8kgf
Effects of the invention obtained by spreading the ink onto the intaglio plate with L / c V and obtaining the same result as the above embodiment As is clear from the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the squeegee comes into pressure contact with the intaglio plate. Since the ink is spread while spreading, the ink is filled into the intaglio grooves at the same time as the ink is spread.
It is possible to reduce scratches, chips, etc. in the formed pattern after printing and improve the quality of the printed pattern.
