Abstract
Description

内で発生した情報を電話回線を通してセンタに送り、自

る。
上記データユニットからの情報の取り出しには、携帯型
のデータ収集器を用いるオフライン方式と、通信回線を
介してデータを直接ホストコンピュータに伝送するオン
ライン方式とが知られているが、近時はオンライン方式
、特に公衆通信回線(電話回線)を利用した方式が盛ん
になる傾向にあり、これに関する技術は、特開昭61−
264494号、同63−173447号、同63−3
01377号、同64−78066号、特開平1−12

、設置場所の制約を受けずにデータ伝送を行うことがで
きるようにした自動販売機を提供することを目的とする

上記構成において、販売制御部2からは販売動作、ある
いは状態変化が生じる度に、販売数量、販売金額、入金
額、返金額、売切れや釣銭切れの発生、稼働時間、テス
ト時間などの情報が送り出され、これらの情報はデータ
ユニット3に逐一記録される。そこで、図示しないセン
タから伝送要求があると、あるいは交信制御部4が内蔵
するタイマの作用により定時に自動的に、データユニ・
ノド3に蓄積されたデータが移動電話機6のアンテナ7
から無線により発信される。このデータは地域内に多数
設置された基地局で受信された後、回線制御局及び自動
車電話交換局を経て、一般電話網のセンタに送られ、そ
こでコンピュータ処理される。なお、センタは上記一般
電話yl<固定電話′fI4)のみならず、自動車に搭
載した移動センタとして無線を介して自動車電話網に接
続し、自動販売機に売切れや故障などが生じた際に直ち
に急行するようにすることもできる。
図示構成によれば、自動販売機と電話回線との電線によ
る接続工事が不要であるため、自動販売機の設置場所の
制約が少なくなる。また、電線を使用していないため、
移動電話機を常時自動販売機に内蔵させる必要がなく、
着脱可能な携帯用端末機として、自動販売機の情報収集
以外の用途にも利用可能となる。更に、自動販売機に隣
接させて各種の情報収集機器を設置すれば、気温、湿度
、ガス濃度(SoX、Noや)などの情報を収集するテ
レメータとしての機能を自動販売機に持たせることも可
