Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically check the mounting position of a parts cassette prior to mounting a part by equipping it with a read write head, which acts as a broker of information conveyance between the information medium (ID counter) of the parts cassette existing in a mounting position and the controller of a part mounting device. CONSTITUTION:To begin with, the mounting position of the parts cassette 1 is input to an ID counter 2. The parts cassette 1 fitted with an ID counter 2, to which the mounting position is input, is attached to the position of the fixing base 3 of a part feeder.
