Prior Art FIG. 1 schematically shows a conventional stencil making machine that perforates a heat-sensitive stencil paper 1 with a heating element of a thermal head 2. The stencil paper 1 is inserted into a platen roller 3 while the heat-shrinkable film side is in contact with the head. Therefore, it is sent at a predetermined speed. A pair of feed rollers consisting of a drive roller 4 and a driven roller 5 are provided downstream of such a recording stencil unit, and are set so that the base paper 1 is fed to the downstream side. Here, the drive roller 4 of the feed roller is a relatively hard rubber roller, and the driven roller 5 is also a hard roller, like a paper discharge roller in a copying machine.

When looking at the feeding by the rollers 4 and 5, if the object is plain paper, it can be fed without wrinkles or the like even if it is a weak paper such as recycled paper. However, if the stencil paper 1 is a paper that is even weaker than the original paper, when its leading edge is held between the rollers 4 and 5, the stencil paper 1 will sag in the horizontal direction, as shown in Figure 2a. If there is, the paper will not be corrected and will be held in its grip, resulting in wrinkles in the base paper 1, as shown in FIG. Since this base paper 1 has already been perforated, the wrinkles will adversely affect the printed image.

Configuration A first embodiment of this invention will be described based on FIG. 3. Components that are the same as those shown in FIG. 1 are designated by the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted. In this embodiment, a driving roller 6 whose outer periphery is made of a sufficiently soft elastic material such as foamed rubber and a driven roller 7 which is hard and has a smooth surface such as a metal roller are provided in opposing contact with each other. . Here, the platen roller 3 is
The drive roller 6 is connected to the motor 8 side by a pulley 9, a belt 10, and a pulley 11, and the pulley 12 of the drive roller 6 is connected to the pulley 11 by a belt 13. The circumferential speed of platen roller 3 is 1.5~
It is set to approximately double. Further, the driven roller 7 is pressed against the drive roller 6 side by a spring or the like, but the pressing force is such that the force with which the drive roller 6 pulls the base paper 1 is weaker than the force with which the platen roller 3 presses the base paper 1. It is said that

このような構成によれば、サーマルヘツド2、

According to such a configuration, the thermal head 2,
When the base paper 1 that is being made into a plate while being fed at a predetermined speed between the platen rollers 3 is fed to the rollers 6 and 7 and gripped, even if there is slack in the lateral direction as shown in FIG. , 7, the drive roller 6 is soft and rotates at high speed, so the base paper 1 is subjected to a squeezing force by the drive roller 6, and the paper 1 is pushed by the smooth and hard driven roller 7.
Accordingly, the slack is stretched in the axial direction, and the base paper 1 is fed without wrinkles.

Next, a second embodiment of this invention will be explained with reference to FIG. This embodiment has a large number of grooves 1 on the outer periphery.
The driving roller 14 is made of an elastic material having a lower apparent hardness.

Effects As described above, in this invention, a pair of feed rollers are positioned in the feed direction of the base paper and are driven after the platen roller that faces the head and determines the feed speed of the base paper, and the feed rollers directly feed the base paper. In a base paper feeding device of a stencil printing machine, which is located at a gripping position, the driving roller of the pair of feeding rollers is formed of an elastic body made of low hardness rubber, and the other roller is formed of metal. The pressing force between them is set to be weaker than the base paper pressing force by the platen roller, and the circumferential speed of the drive roller is set higher than the circumferential speed of the platen roller.
Even if the base paper is extremely thin, the drive roller is made of an elastic material made of low-hardness rubber, so when the leading edge of the base paper is held between the rollers, the leading edge of the base paper will be held between the rollers made of metal. In addition, the pressing force between the rollers is set to be weaker than the pressing force of the platen roller on the base paper, and the peripheral speed of the drive roller is adjusted to match the peripheral speed of the platen roller. Since the speed is set higher than speed, the slack can be stretched out even when the base paper is being transported.
This has the effect that it does not adversely affect the printed image.
