Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely prevent lateral leakage by rising the base part of a barrier cuff to a certain height by a second elastic expansion member and rising the side edge of a barrier sheet outward by a first elastic expansion member positioned outside. CONSTITUTION:A barrier sheet 6 has a fixed elastic expansion member 7B in the middle in its cross direction between it and a surface sheet 5 and an elastic expansion member 7A at its free end. Meanwhile, the intermediate part of the sheet 5 in its cross direction is fixed to a liq.-permeable sheet 2 with a hot-melt adhesive, both sides are not fixed to the liq.-permeable sheet 2, made free and fixed to the middle of the riser part of the barrier sheet 6 through the members 7B, 7B and 7B. The members 7A and 7B are fixed to the longitudinal ends of paper diaper with a hot-melt adhesive, etc., and the member 7A is positioned by the paper diaper and the member 7B inside the diaper. As a result, the barrier cuff is not significantly dislocated, and lateral leakage is prevented.

The technique described in Japanese Patent No. 62-231004 has been proposed. In this case, it is also known to provide gasket cuffs on the outside of the barrier cuffs together with the barrier cuffs. In any case, the barrier cuffs of conventional paper diapers basically have one elastic stretchable member in the width direction, and the barrier cuffs simply protrude inwardly or vertically.

The barrier cuffs are effective for blocking loose stools, but if the barrier sheet simply protrudes diagonally from the outside inward or stands up vertically, the inner edge of the barrier cuffs may If the part deviates from its normal position in the width direction, loose stools tend to leak sideways.

Therefore, the main object of the present invention is to reliably prevent leakage of loose stool or urine even if the barrier cuffs fit weakly against the wearer's skin, and to prevent misalignment in the width direction of the barrier cuffs. To be less or less like.

The above problem can be solved by providing an absorbent body on the upper surface of a liquid-impermeable sheet, disposing a liquid-permeable sheet on the upper surface of this absorbent body, and further causing the surface of the disposable diaper to warp due to the contractile force of the elastic elastic member along the front-rear direction of the disposable diaper. In a disposable diaper having barrier cuffs on both sides that protrude, the barrier cuffs include a barrier sheet and an elastic elastic member, and the elastic elastic member has a first elastic elastic member fixed to a side edge of the barrier sheet. member, and a second elastic elastic member fixed to a widthwise intermediate portion of the protruding portion of the barrier sheet;
The second elastic stretchable member is fixed to the front and back ends of the disposable diaper, and the first elastic stretchable member is located on the side of the disposable diaper, and the second elastic stretchable member is located inside the disposable diaper. Solvable.

In the present invention, due to the presence of the second elastic elastic member,
Stand up until the base portion of the barrier cuff reaches a certain height (hereinafter also referred to as an intermediate position). On the other hand, due to the presence of the first elastic stretchable member located outward, the side edges of the barrier sheet rise outward. Therefore, the area from the intermediate position to the side edges of the barrier sheet is diagonal. It becomes an area with wings extending outward.

When the barrier sheet 6 is hydrophobic, side leakage of urine and soft stool liquid can be further prevented. However, even if the barrier sheet 6 is hydrophobic, it is desirable to have air permeability. In order to form such a barrier sheet 6, a nonwoven fabric treated to be water repellent may be used. Alternatively, it may be formed from a plastic sheet.

The liquid-permeable sheet 2 is arranged to have the width of the absorbent body 3. This liquid-permeable sheet 2 mainly has the function of diffusing urine. Further, a liquid-impermeable band 11 made of polyethylene or the like extends in the longitudinal direction with a width spanning the surfaces of both sides of the liquid-permeable sheet 2 and a position inside the joint of the liquid-impermeable sheet 1. ing. Between the liquid-impermeable band 11 and the liquid-impermeable sheet 1, there is provided one or more elastic elastic members 4 for bending and deformation made of rubber thread or the like, as in the illustrated example.
4 is interposed and fixed with hot melt adhesive. Therefore, this liquid-impermeable band 11 can prevent urine from leaking through the liquid-permeable sheet 2 at this joint, and at the same time can also prevent the hot melt adhesive from seeping out. can. In addition, since the elastic elastic member 4.4 for bending and deformation is provided, the sides of the absorbent body 3 are deformed in an upright manner as the elastic member 4.4 is deformed, so that the absorbent body 3 forms a U-shaped pocket and is used for excretion. It has the effect of increasing the storage and absorption effect of substances. Moreover, since the absorbent body 3, which is originally semi-rigid, stands up, the barrier cuff B can easily stand up, and the upright end of the barrier cuff B has the effect of making good contact with the wearer's skin. .

When the paper diaper according to the present invention is worn, the front and back of the paper diaper are compressed by the contraction force of each elastic stretchable member 4.7A, 7B.
Curved into a can shape. As a result, barrier cuffs B and B come to stand up as shown in FIG. With this standing up,
An approximately trapezoidal space is formed by the standing portion of the barrier sheet 6 and the free portion of the top sheet 5 accompanying the standing up portion, and this forms a pocket space P for soft stool.

In the present invention, in order to allow soft stool to pass through into the pocket space P, it is preferable that a soft stool transmission opening 50 be formed in the upright portion of the top sheet 5 constituting the barrier cuff B. The soft stool permeation openings 50 are formed in advance with a predetermined opening area using a die cutter or the like in the manufacturing stage, preferably on a separate line from or before the assembly process of the disposable diaper. can be formed.

Thus, when the disposable diaper according to the present invention is worn, the wing portions come into contact with the skin of the wearer, and the intermediate portion of the barrier sheet 6 due to the arrangement of the second elastic stretchable members 7B, 7B, 7B in the intermediate portion also comes into contact with the skin.

For soft stool, preferably, the contraction force of the first elastic elastic member 7A is preferably lower than the contraction force of the second elastic elastic member 7B, 7B, 7.
Since the contraction force of B is strengthened, it is mainly blocked at the middle part of the barrier sheet 6, and is prevented from exceeding this. However, whereas in the past there was a problem of the barrier cuffs slipping in the width direction due to movement of the wearer, in the present invention, even if the middle part of the barrier sheet 6 shifts laterally, the wing part Since it is always in contact with the wearer's skin, even if loose stool may exceed the middle part of the barrier sheet 6, the wing part is in contact with the skin, so as a result, the first elastic elastic member It does not exceed 7A and prevents side leakage.

Furthermore, the standing height of the barrier cuffs B becomes higher due to the first elastic stretchable members 7A disposed on the side edges of the barrier sheet 6. As a result, when the soft stool permeation hole 50 is formed, the opening becomes larger.

On the other hand, in order to prevent lateral leakage of loose stools, increasing the width of the barrier cuffs can be considered, but in this case, if the barrier cuffs are not worn properly, the barrier cuffs will not function as intended due to lateral displacement. While there are often
According to the present invention, by forming the barrier cuffs in a cross-sectional shape, the original effect of preventing loose stools is great even when the cuffs are laterally shifted.Furthermore, the entire wing portion is in contact with the wearer's skin, and the frictional force , even if the wearer moves vigorously,
Follows well and prevents side leakage. Furthermore, since the wing portions are open outward, when worn, the wing portions will not come into contact with the wearer's skin and cause improper wearing.
