(Purpose) The purpose of the present invention is to provide a flexible "pseudo cigarette" for smoking cessation or smoking reduction. (Prior art and its problems) The mainstream of so-called "smoking pipes" currently on the market for smoking cessation or smoking reduction are pipe-shaped pipes consisting of a hard plastic mouthpiece and a body tube, which is held in the mouth and The idea is to enjoy the refreshing aroma of the fragrances (such as natural herbal ingredients) contained in the food. Therefore, the soft feeling when you put it in your mouth,
There is no chewiness at all. (Means for Solving Problems) The present invention provides a flexible pseudo-cigarette itself that has the same shape as a cigarette and is made of a highly flexible elastomer material instead of the conventional hard plastic. Therefore, the user can hold this pseudo cigarette in his mouth and chew it with his teeth like gum, enjoying the soft texture with rubber elasticity. As the elastomer material suitable for the purpose of the present invention, ordinary vulcanization-curing elastomers are inappropriate in consideration of hygiene and productivity, and the material is limited to thermoplastic elastomer materials. Among these, it has excellent heat aging resistance during production processing or use,
Hydrogenated thermoplastic elastomers are optimal because they have excellent low-temperature flexibility and weather resistance to withstand use in cold regions or outdoors in the hot sun. The present invention is a hydrogenated block obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer having at least two polymer blocks A mainly composed of a vinyl aromatic compound and at least one polymer block B mainly composed of a conjugated diene compound. To provide a simulated cigarette for smoking cessation comprising a composition containing 100 parts by weight of a copolymer, 5 to 200 parts by weight of a polyolefin, and 300 parts by weight or less of a plasticizer. In addition, the hardness of the composition is JISA hardness.
A range of 50 to 90 is required. If it is less than 50, the molded product will be too soft and will not retain its shape. If it exceeds 90, moldability is poor and the elastic texture is impaired. Representative examples of each component A and B constituting the hydrogenated block copolymer are as follows. Component A includes styrene, α-methylstyrene, vinyltoluene, p-tert-butylstyrene, etc. Component B includes butadiene, isoprene, 1,3-pentadiene, 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene, etc. can be given. The hydrogenation rate in the hydrogenated block copolymer is 25% or less for block A and 95% for block B.
The above is preferable. If the hydrogenation rate of part A exceeds 25%, the mechanical strength of the copolymerization tends to decrease, and if the hydrogenation rate of part B exceeds 95%, heat resistance and weather resistance tend to deteriorate. Suitable polyolefins include homopolymers of propylene, copolymers with ethylene (random type or block type), polyethylene, and the like. Other polyolefins described in Japanese Patent Application No. 59-155434, page 23, line 5 from the bottom and onwards can be used. The amount of polyolefin used is 5 to 200 parts by weight, preferably 10 to 150 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the hydrogenated block copolymer. If it is less than 5 parts by weight, it is not preferable in terms of improving moldability, and if it exceeds 200 parts by weight, the hardness of the composition becomes too high and flexibility is lost, which is not preferable. As the plasticizer, rubber process oils, particularly paraffinic oils and mineral oils that are excellent in hygiene properties, are suitable, and low molecular weight polypropylene, polybutene, etc. may also be used. Other patent applications 1984-155434
No., page 22, bottom line 4 onwards. The amount of plasticizer used is 300 parts by weight or less per 100 parts by weight of the hydrogenated block copolymer, preferably
200 parts by weight or less. If it exceeds 300 parts by weight, it is not preferable because it reduces the mechanical strength of the composition. Furthermore, if it is less than 5 parts by weight, it tends to become difficult to adjust the hardness, so it is preferably 5 parts by weight or more. A resin, a pigment, a stabilizer, a foaming agent, etc. can be added to the composition within a range that does not impair hygiene. For mixing and molding the composition of the present invention, conventional equipment used for plastics can be suitably used. (Example) The formulations shown in the table below were blended using a Henschel mixer, mixed using an extruder (65 mmφ twin-screw extruder), and pelletized. Using this pellet, a cigarette-shaped product as shown in the perspective view of FIG. 1 was obtained using an injection molding machine (50Z). 1 is the main body, and 2 is a line that makes it look like a filter section.
