A variety of underwater structures such as dikes have been constructed. However, in these structures, foundation scouring and bottom sediments are sucked out, which may cause the underwater structures to sink or even topple over. and,
Structures that protrude above the sea surface, such as offshore levees, significantly impair the scenery, and submerged levees have the disadvantage of increasing the water level inside the levee and increasing the velocity of the flow toward the outside of the levee, which carries away the sediment outside the levee. be.

A large number of leaves 3.3 made of a synthetic polymeric material or the like are attached at intervals to the base 1 formed by bonding to the base 1, and a weight 6 is placed at an appropriate position on the base 1.
This is characterized by the fact that an anchor 4 is attached thereto.

A large number of fronds 3 are provided at appropriate intervals and their base ends are attached to steel rods 2, 2 to form an artificial seaweed arrangement flA. Furthermore, anchors 4.4 each having a weight 6 at the tip of a chain or the like 5 are attached to appropriate positions of the base 1, for example, at the four corners. The artificial seagrass device of the present invention is as follows:
The base 1 is placed on a sandy water bottom surface or below the water bottom surface 7, and fixedly installed using anchors 4.4.

ある。It is important for the above-mentioned base 1 to allow bottom sediment to flow freely both above and below, and it also needs to have enough rigidity to maintain the shape of the base 1, as well as to reduce resistance to the movement of bottom sediment. It is desirable that the cross section of each reinforcement 2 be as small as possible without impairing the required rigidity. Further, the leaf-shaped body 3 needs to be movable by waves and currents, have strength so as not to break easily, and have high corrosion resistance.

This oscillates, weakening or increasing the velocity of water particles near the bottom in the direction of wave propagation, and weakening the velocity in the opposite direction. Additionally, the flow velocity will be weakened. As a result, the sediment floating near the water bottom moves in the direction of wave propagation or is deposited on the spot, and as shown in Figure 3, the water bottom surface 9 without the artificial seagrass device A is shown by the dotted line. The bottom surface 10 of the water changes as shown below.

Furthermore, if the artificial seagrass device 1A is installed on the water bottom near the coast as shown in FIG. On beaches where sand is decreasing, erosion will stop and the beaches will recover. Each of these phenomena has been confirmed through numerous experiments.

It is constructed by attaching an anchor with a weight to the appropriate place on the base, so if it is installed on the bottom surface of the seabed, lake bed, riverbed, etc., it will be able to be attached to the leaf by waves and water currents passing through it. As the body sways, the velocity of water particles near the bottom changes, and the sand suspended near the bottom moves in the direction of wave travel or is deposited there, tending to become flat as a whole. At the same time, scouring and erosion will be prevented, and recovery will occur naturally.
